Callum ball has been training really hard. Even went in 2 weeks ago and came second in the group 2 yo yo test.He's been told to

step it up or he wont be given a new contract and ultimately released. Callum is one of the few players I know personally he was desperate for his loan spell to go well but he got injured 4 times last season and didn't get a full pre season which he and players like Bennett 100% need for their natural size. The change in managers and the clubs problems wasn't the best but he has been told that unless a club can offer him a role as a first team striker on loan then u21s will be where he will play. Also he will be the back up to any of the 4 main strikers should one of them get a long injury.

I've always thought Ball needed to get a lot fitter. For such a big lad he's poor in the air and isn't fast or agile. Reminds me a bit of a pub player that managed to get by on his size in under 16/18 games due to his large size and being able to bully players but in the professional league they're used to that. I wouldn't mind in letting him go. We have 4 much better strikers and Bennett is a much better prospect.

Looks like Mo Adams has joined the Rams Under 18s. Wassall said there were a new batch of 10 scholars, not sure on a couple of them. Seems like he is one of the two missing from the original list of new scholars;

Jack Tuite (RB, signed from Ireland, Irish Youth player.

Charles Vernam, forward, signed from Ssausagehorpe, already played for U21s.

Max Lowe, left back, regular already for the Academy, England U16 player,

other players recruited from the U16s squad;

Callum Guy

Sam Drysden, right back

Tom Rigby, centre back ( was U16s captain)

Guy Clennett

Nathan Bondswell (forward)

Mo Adams is from Nottingham. He's a box to box midfielder and was part of Florists U16s squad last season. Played a few times for their Under 18's. Either he wasen't offered a deal there and we picked him up, or he preffered our offer. Either way, he's moved across the River Trent.

Apart from Vernam and Lowe who are highly rated who else do you rate from that crop of lads?

Mo adams was very highly rated at Forest but he was in an incident with another youth team player that caused forest to terminate his scholarship 3-4 weeks early. Birmingham offered both of the players trials and deals within days but Mo also got an offer from us and well you he couldn't that down.
