I know it's stating the obvious, but he was arguably our best player from the start of the season up until the point he hobbled off that dump in Nottingham. I'm in the mood for conjecture, and I feel it's not unreasonable to suggest we would be sitting on the edge of the playoffs had he not suffered the injury. Yeah, why not? He's been out for 12 games (13 now including Leeds) and as our best player I think he would have been capable of individually winning an additional 3 or 4 points during that period with a couple of moments of brilliance where another player wasn't able that would see us on the edge of the playoffs.
