Badlands Posted December 1, 2012 Share Posted December 1, 2012 Frustrating match. We stared and finished awfully so can't have any complaints about the result, nor the margin of it tbh. Yes we played very well for 40 odd minutes but we were once again we were toothless in front of goal away from home. Leicester will get promoted comfortably if they play like that every week. Nugent was the diffrence he alway scores agains us . Riduculoulsy flattering scoreline though even more so than last year. Thought our defence was poor in first 20 mins poor from Keogh and Oconnorr agree with Bris on that one. Bizarre how we lose this season when playing well, must be down to the defence. He was nowhere to be seen today (again) O'Connor is up there with the worst left backs in DCFC history, can He pass, tackle or run with a ball? useless. He's supposed to drive the team forward. He looks like he's towing a caravan when he's running. James O' Connor should not start another game this season, and Buxton has turned ***** again. rammieib Posted December 1, 2012 Share Posted December 1, 2012 Bria - I think you are harsh on Sammon. All game Hughes, Coutts and Hendrick just played triangles in the middle of the pitch. All this doesn't achieve anything as its not in a place to hurt the opposition. When the ball is played into Sammon, he has no support whatsoever. We badly missed Bryson today - our midfielders have to break through more and offer more. Even worse for me though is O'connor. I really hope today people realise just how poor he is. Modern day right and left backs have to off something going forward. He doesn't give us anything. Ok, so let's hope he can defend - no he cannot do that either. There was a reason that Doncaster didn't even play him in a team that went down. Clough has to give Freeman or Hoganson a chance there, especially if there is no Roberts. I simply not buy into us being that good today. Leicester were clinical and showed why they are top 6. We showed exactly why we are miles from top 6. Leicester will get promoted comfortably if they play like that every week. annoying thing its been like that last 3 years, they look so good against us you think they shoudl be promoted but they are hit and miss. Our goal was well taken and it was a good pass by Jacobs Just so many negatives aswell.. Our defending for the 2nd and 3rd goal were pubstandard...
