Bris Vegas
It's OK.. This was expected.. Palace have spent millions more than us over the past few years and their wage bill must be much higher than ours.. Next week we're at home against an out of sorts Brum side... An easy 3 points. gcdcfc28
Yeah but who in the Palace side would you sign for Derby? Zaha? Murray? Who else is better than what we have? Guest
We getting better, we got a shot on target. Totally agree bris, they have also had years more building a side than us :-)

Jayram
Well then I take my hat off to them. Although I'm sure they were absolutely crap last season. Amazing turnaround.

They were penalties away from a League Cup final and comfortably stayed up.. I think many Derby fans would class that as a magnificent season
Brammie Steve
What's the difference between the Rams and Michael Fagan*? Michael Fagan got past the Palace defences. *(Michael Fagan (born 1951) was an intruder who broke into Buckingham Palace in Central London and entered the Queen's bedchamber in the early hours of 9 July 1982.) It's evidence a average side can win games with a good manager if anything else. It’s evidence that an average but experienced side can win most games if they’ve also got two or three genuine quality players in the side. networker1884
Ah, all I'm gonna say is I'm disappointed. We could have done better, and we should have done better. We have the squad capable of being near the top, but a manager that isn't capable. One season we'll overachieve and get promotion through the play-offs. That is not this season. I hope I'm wrong, in fact I usually am wrong, but hey, we'll see.
gcdcfc28
Fair enough Palace have two or three quality players, but how many of our current squad would you regard "quality" - which featured in the starting eleven today? Bryson? Brayford? Hughes? Keogh....? Those aren't quality players then? And experienced? means sod all if your a good enough player. I regard Roberts, Keogh, Buxton to be experienced enough, but doesn't stop them shipping in 3 goals does it? Look at Palaces bench today, made up of two ex Rams nobody rated and the rest are hasbeens like Garvan and Wilbraham. This league is really not that great in terms of quality and I honestly cannot see why we couldn't have gone there today with a bit of ambition to win the game. I mean four defenders on the bench? What the duck...?
