I don't think there's a place in football for all the aforementioned that went on yesterday but I think there are a select few from both sets of supporters who have a habit of letting everybody down.

I was sat by the corner flag with the A Block to the left and the majority of our fans nearby were more interested in making empty threats to the Forest fans and trying to look hard than actually watching the game of football they had paid £32 no doubt to see.

It was funny too, I bumped into a friend who I lived with at uni as I was rushing down past Trent Bridge trying not to miss kick-off. I stopped and said 'alright mate, nice to see you' and he joked 'we're not friends today' and he looked happy to see me. Then his merry men kicked up a fuss asking 'why are you talking to him for?' and then he was less than cordial and told me to 'run along' and one of his mates even called me a 'sheepsh*gging b*stard' as I headed off.

I didn't even turn round. I just carried on pacing towards the ground and just gave the thumbs up. It's an intense, emotional day for us all but come on, if I can be polite and hold my tongue, why can't others?

Naturally, I had the last laugh. 1-0 to the Derby boys and he's deactivated his Facebook account all of sudden. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

What happened? Why should the forest board say sorry?

Throwing stuff at the fans and on the pitch? I think that's what B4 means.

I can't see the board apologising though, not unless someone was very seriously hurt?

Blimey, I'm glad I'm a woman then. I've got forest mates who I wouldn't dream of ignoring no matter what the day was, and like to think they'd still talk to me. Guess it must be different for blokes?

Will you speak to him as normal the next time you see him? Or just be a bit indifferent?

I'll speak to him, sure because I'm not rude. I don't think we're likely to see each other though. People move on. We're not exactly best friends after all but you know we lived together for a year and have known each other for four years. He didn't ignore me but I didn't expect him to be so cold. But I guess he probably felt peer pressure.

That's it, Ladyram. It's just a game of football. No need for social conventions to go out of the window. If it was the other way round and I was with my best friend who is a Derby fan and he'd bumped into us, he'd just give a little nod and mind his own. But I just found it odd that complete strangers were so rude just because I was a Derby fan.

It's an interesting point though, can Derby fans and Forest fans be friends? I think so but well for others it seems easier said than done.

my brother in law is a forest fan, saw him at the match, he was sat in a block and i was sat around where you were and i gave him a friendly wave, twice, once closed fist and the other with 2 fingers 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

I had an altercation with a policeman about this just after Bryson scored, a bottle was thrown which hit my brother at the side of the head, now I wouldn't have minded if he'd been pissing about or anything, but he's only 10, and was barely celebrating as he was so enthralled by the atmosphere. I told this policeman, even pointed out the t\/\/at that did it, and his reply was, 'It's a Derby day, so just concentrate on the match'. His arrogance and negligence to his duty wound me up something chronic and I continued to press him, and said so if i throw a bottle back at him is that okay? To which his reply was 'If you continue I'll evict you from the stadium'.

*****.

Mate you should have taken a note of his collar number and made a complaint ........the tit would perhaps do his job properly then.. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

I was punched in the mouth after the match by a f*orest fan. Wrong place wrong time.

Unfortunately every club has it's small pocket of moronic fans.

If you go to away game such as forest I'm afraid you just have to be willing to take the risk that these things happen, if you don't want to be hit by coins, don't go. It's sad, but true.

Retarded gump in a time warp eh........... 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />
