Hughes, Hendrick and Bryson are excellent in midfield. Theo scores regularly as does Tyson, Wardy has been crap. Get penalties dished out for fun. Albert Posted November 4, 2012 Share Posted November 4, 2012 Hmmm... I spent the whole off season looking for a suitable leftback... Roberts is apparently not going to be replaced easily. I ended up just signing a Brazillian attacking pair for a mil odd each (in instalments over 4 years). They've done the business. Ward started with Sammon up front in a 4-4-2 type formation, Sammon started banging them in whilst Ward torn his hamstring. Theo couldn't score for toffee for him, so now it's a Bennett-Sammon from pairing, and they are tearing up, 12 in 18 (6 from the bench) league games for Bennett and 11 in 20 league games for Sammon. O'Brien started well, but has recently derailed our campaign slightly. He's either going to come good in the next few weeks, or Gjokaj will be set to make his first team debut. Day Posted November 4, 2012 Share Posted November 4, 2012 I sent Bennett to Portsmouth, scored 17 goals, second season gave him 10 games couldn't score, sent him to Coventry and bagged 21. 3rd Season nobody scored and I got sacked for losing 8 games straight at the start of the season.
