rynny
I still think Michael Owen is a legend. When I was a young lad and he was scoring those brilliant goals for England he gave me alot of entartainment for the game. I can't remember who we were playing, it was at the old Wembley and he'd been out injured for a bit and came on as a sub. Not been on long, scored a cracker from outsied the area. Slap bang into the top corner. Brilliant player, gutted for him that injuries have blighted his career. The mighty Luxemborg IIRC in a 5-0 win. I guess you were on about that goal anyway 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

networker1884
I do think Owen still has what it takes to compete at Premiership level. Stoke though, they've got some top strikers, Kenwyne Jones, Crouch, Cameron Jerome...on their day are excellent. Thats alot of strikers to please... Cisse
If Owen stays fit he can give alongside Charlie Adam more options to Stoke offence. Now that Stoke has been getting more money they might start looking for expand their style of playing eventually.
uttoxram75
He's been given permission to travel in his helicopter to training as long as it doesn't interfere with local air space. Stoke already have claims for that with Crouch jumping for Delap's throw ins and Robert Huth's clearances....
