Don't think Leeds have ever had what you'd call a rival, not like the Sheffield teams have.

My family in Yorkshire have always hated them because they're dirty buggers on the pitch, have been for years - and talking about them always makes me dad swear which he doesn't normally do 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

I asked my best friend who supports man utd why they hate Leeds, his response was "it's just in the blood, ya know, what with war of the roses an' all that" ****** I told him, you're from Stevenage 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

Leeds have never needed a rival as the whole football community despises them and they love it!!

Good read, although I was quite shocked (and proud) that we had the 3rd most teams considering us as main rivals. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Also, how the hell were Liverpool not the most offensive club?! 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Obviously can't abide Forest and anything to do with it.

Can't stand Liverpool and their bleedin sense of entitlement, there 70's humour that they automatically assume everyone loves, dole spongin, curly haired, shell suit wearing thieves....... 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Of course Manure and Stoke and the dirties, in fact I hate everyone and everything 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Hey come on, they ain't all thieves.

Obviously Forest has everything going for it in terms of rivalry but I don't agree with some of the comments re Leicester. Just because we hate Forest doesn't mean we should belittle the Leicester rivalry. I'm 25 and used to love the prem games in years gone by when Forest were nowhere to be seen. The atmosphere was great (probably cus we had a decent team) and although it wasn't Forest, it had that rivalry feeling.

There used to be a fair rivalry between Utch and Ashbourne.

Only ever one winner tho.................. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ph34r' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Don't tell me - I bet they were all wearing oxblood dockers too.. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Ain't that where they roll pancakes down a hill on football day and all chase after it until someone scores?

Oh, and here's one for you LadyMod! 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wub' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I'd agree with our top 3. But Forest are WAY out in front of the other two.

Also I've developed a certain dislike for Burton Albion. Well not them exaclty, more some of there 'supporters'. Living in Burton, and being born here, I was absolutely delighted when they won promotion to the football league but then something changed.

All the Albion fan's who I'd see down Eton Park on a Saturday (When Derby were away of course, my dad could only afford to take me too the odd Ram's home game a season) were joined at the Pirelli by a new lot, a bunch of prats who used to support Man Utd or Liverpool but now have decided than the Brewer's are worth there attention. Unsurprisingly it's these type of Albion fan's (a few of whom drink in pubs I drink in) that think that were there rival's. They say thing's like "why don't you support your local team?" and don't understand when I just laugh at them.

I imagine it's these Albion fan's that have had a say in this survey as well, placing us 2nd (!) ,which I can only assume is because of us offering Nigel a job at a bigger club, and completely forgetting about Gresley Rover's is the sort of thing they'd do. Can't they remember the Boxing day clashes between Burton and Gresley??? I guess not, because they were watching United on the telly.

So yeah, for the long time Albion fan's I wish them the best, for the others I wish them a quick and painful return to where they belong (Non-League) even if it's just to see if these fair weather fan's stick around.

That turned into a bit of a rant there.....

I am also from Burton and I would consider myself kind of a Burton glory fan. Like yourself - I loved it when they went up - I was in a box for the Old Trafford away game, I went to their play-off semis vs Cambridge and I went to see them away at Darlington when I was living in Newcastle. They're amongst the 3 results I look out for (along with Derby and Newcastle) and would love to see them higher up the football pyramid.

Luckily I don't have many arrogant Brewers fans - But I just don't see why they are beginning to hate us? Burton is like Derby's little brother in my mind, they should be chasing a rivalry with Port Vale/Notts County/Walsall/Tamworth instead of us to be honest.
