maydrakin
Whilst I knew it has been years since Simmo scored our last hat-trick against Tranmere, I didn't appreciate it was another dubious league record we currently own! I have never really counted the Lupoli one, as the League Cup is more or less reserves footy nowadays... Let's hope I'm wrong.

Hucknall Ram
Lupoli moved to Derby County on a season-long loan on August 18, 2006, and debuted for Derby in the 0–0 draw at home to Norwich City the following day. He then got a brace against Colchester United in a game which Derby lost 4–3. On January 6, 2007, Lupoli scored Derby County's first hat-trick for over a decade in a 3–1 victory third round FA Cup tie against Wrexham. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arturo_Lupoli#section_1
Albert
Both Ellington and Tito got hattricks in the League Cup back in 2008/09. Who knows, maybe someone will pick up a League hattrick this season?
North_Stand_Ram
Theo could have easily got one at P'boro last year. I think we've got a chance this season, im actually pretty happy with our front line.

Ramchope
Theres an interesting question down the bottom of the page that can be re-worded for us, what teams currently in the football league have we not played in any competition? I'm guessing Fleetwood and I know we haven't played my local side Wycombe...

t'oldu
Help Was it Simmo or Tommy that scored the hat trick against Portsmouth that got Jim Smith the sack and so made him available to accept the job as our manager Or is my old brain completely scrambled?? t'oldu
thanks . It has been niggling away every time someone says Simmo was the last to score a hat trick.
Catch 23
I remember Rob Hulse missed a penalty against Coventry a couple of years ago that would have been a hat trick. I really hope someone breaks that duck soon. Come on Theo!
Hucknall Ram
Commons did that against Middlesbrough as well And how can we forget Malcolm Christie "hat trick" goal getting ruled out in the last minute against manure.
rynny
And how can we forget Malcolm Christie "hat trick" goal getting ruled out in the last minute against manure. I remember Baiano scored 2 against Leicester and had 1 ruled out wrongly for offside in 97/98 season at their place. Also Ashley Ward put the ball in the net 3 times against Chelsea at the BBG 1 a penalty was given a second before he scored for Le Beof handballing it on the line and Asanovic scored the penalty another was given as an OG for Scott Minto but finally he got the goal he deserved in the last minute to give us a 3-2 win 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Bris Vegas
Craig Burley also missed a penalty for his hattrick vs Bradford in that 4-4 draw.. Close but no cigar. Under Clough we've rarely scored 3 goals in a game, let alone by the same player.
