Question for anyone who may be able to help, it’s looking likely I won’t be able to go to Barnsley on Saturday now due to personal commitment so was wondering if I’d be able to get a full refund if I returned the tickets to the ticket office tomorrow or would it be too short notice?

Planning on giving them a call in the morning but thought I’d ask if anyone knew from past experience.

    I’d take them off you

could collect Friday evening if your local to Derby

Have Stoke tickets gone off sale now? Were they sold our or do you think pay on the day be available?

I know this is hard to say at the moment.

Edit: apologies have found the answer.

For anyone else interested. On sale at the ticket office until the 29th. No pay on the day available.

Gone off line but available to purchase from ticket office up to 29th December guessing until old out which there not far from.Think we had 3k and won’t get anymore as Stoke season ticket holders next to away end

What a strange comment.... The answer for you question is simple: Because I'm rather behind the club than one spesific player who, when playing, makes us worse. The better question is, why would you rather see us getting less points? For me, that's strange and extremely negative approach.

You have never supported Lawrence as a Derby player….he is playing very well in an average team with limited attacking support and you don’t like the fact a lot of the Derby fan base recognise his contribution to this team is very good. Also a lot of us fans like the fact he gives us some actual craft and quality on the ball that others lack.Whilst Lawrence is a Derby County player he has my full support and certainly we are better team with him to watch and enjoy.

There's so much Lawrence love here so let's balance it out with some nasty facts.

Firstly, he is among the most wasteful forwards in this league. That shouldn't be suprise to anyone.

    image.thumb.png.3b643e6c51ba7c74385876eeb34b67a9.png

Secondly, those that think we would be doing worse without him, I bring you this season's stats:

Games with Lawrence, at least 60 minutes per game: 4W 8D 7L  = 1,05 points per game
Games without or under 30 mins: 1W 2D 0L = 1,67 points per game and unbeaten

Obviously three games is not enough to make a good comparison, but it's visible how much more compact we are without him.
Let's hypothesize for a second. If Lawrence would've been dropped at the start of the season and that formula would've been true, we would now be 5 points from safety with 16 points instead of the current 4.

I know, there's a lot of statistical loopholes in this, but I just wanted to beat him with the stats this time. ?

Why can’t you just get behind Tom Lawrence when we as a club have our backs against the wall….some strange folk around that like to see the negative in everything and stir the pot

Around the 80/85th minute today, Knight put a wonderful cross into the box. CKR ran to the near post and took a defender with him. The ball went middle/back post. Where was Tom Lawrence? Stood still on the edge of the box making no attempt to get in.

Good (great) players make things happen. Our current structure, albeit somewhat forced on us with players available, but for everything we do amazingly well defensively, we are the complete opposite in the other half.

We don’t make many runs behind, and thus our more creative players don’t seem to even look to pick out the defence splitting pass.

Lawrence, When playing as a winger and Morrison only want the ball to feet.

Bird and Shinnie rarely Venture into last man territory and given Morrison has already dropped deep and Lawrence has pulled out wide to receive it, we are such an easy team to defend against.

Our players need to be more adventurous, Especially Morrison and Lawrence. We need to look for the killer pass more often instead of the focus of playing the triangles to retain possession and we must be generally braver on the ball even if the final pass fails 9 in 10.

As solid as it was today, it’s another game I never saw us scoring and they were there for the taking, especially first half.

Having CKR back fit will hopefully help by allowing us to play off him a little more but if we don’t make third man runs it’s pointless.

Morrison and Lawrence, and to a lesser extent Knight need to bring more to the table. It needs to start Tuesday.

Is this a joke…85th minute if you were there you could clearly see our players were shattered after a massive effort both defending and attacking. As for another game I never saw us scoring comment we were incredibly unlucky at Preston hitting bar, shots blocked, good saves and 2 penalty decisions going against us.Our players don’t need to bring more to table there effort is admirable in the current circumstances

  6. Been in home end lots of times but for me biggest memory was Huddersfield away think it was cup game.We had sold whole away end and we got tickets in home end and we thought get corner near Derby fans for getting there hooligans would be there. We we’re way back in stand so no way out.Literally all game it was cracking off between Derby fans and the home fans.Never seen so many in a home end before. Both stands either side of the Derby stand had Derby fans jumping out and running to the away end.It was that bad for us the police went in to our stand to break up the fans but they got really bad kicking with one policeman actually getting knocked to the ground and badly hurt.We survived but not enjoyable experience. Also remember Lincoln away in with Derby fans and watching DLF in home end doing running battles with Lincoln fans until police moved in and segregated them.World cup Germany went in Ecuador end with three fans who were brilliant and luckily the England fans did not pick on them.Done my days of watching England abroad and got sick of the England fans constantly looking to start trouble usually with each other.Done France 98 and Marseille with all the riots, stabbings, hit and runs was like a war scene at times. In our room getting ready to go pub with riot outside window and all over French TV at same time live

  7. Just back holiday and looking to get tickets but nothing showing on Derby website.Have we missed the cut off date.Looking at Hull website there fans can buy on day so I’ll call them directly and ask the situation.Any advice appreciated

  8. I think the points being made is we all need to come together as a fan base and views are mixed and split. We must all agree the clubs situation is dire and we all must be prepared if the situation becomes really bad.I for one remember the dark days of Maxwell then the 3 amigos. As a fan base we can call for answers and communication from the club,so we can be in support whether it’s looking at investment, communication, legal, etc. You would be surprised the wealth of knowledge we have as a fan base and power we can use when we come together.Personally I would love to see us in fan ownership through a share scheme if it’s not too late. It’s the lack of communication and leaks coming out that’s the worry and like others have hinted there’s no smoke without fire.We need to all stand together as one Derby County voice whether to our current owner or potential suitors that were hear to be heard and in support if called upon but at the minute the ship is going down and the fans are below deck whilst 1st class are still finishing the champagne that’s left over

    Hi everyone,

I have posted this on my personal facebook but want to let everyone else know as well hence why I have started a new thread. As fans we need to be collectively acting now on the back of the group Club 84 raising various issues over the past week or so. Do no bury your heads in the sand any longer. I am concerned.

Spent this last week focusing on something that means a hell of alot to me, Derby County.

This past year has been tough on me, sure you all know that and my primarily focus has been on my business and family. A new addition in Phoebe, a house move that now risks having houses built at the back of us replacing the green belt land that reside on the land and then working most nights delivering Uber to bring some income in, not to mention home schooling. So I haven't had the time to think about Derby County but it has now come to a tipping point where I am very concerned about our club.

Regardless of the result on Saturday, this club in my opinion is in serious danger and when I say that I mean it in the strongest of terms. Should this takeover not happen then I worry that we will have no club to return to.

Over the past few weeks many supporters group and the local press have requested that either Mel Morris or Stephen Pearce just come out and gives us fans some 'reassurance' that our club will be secure in the event of the takeover collapsing. This has been refused many times.

I have been involved with the club for around 15 years now and have attended many meetings including the supporters committee that meet every couple of months and improving the atmosphere etc etc... Always had a very good relationship and a mutual respect with both Mel & Stephen. There was plans for a protest after the game on Saturday (now been called off due to safety concerns with the Arena Vaccines) and originally this could have simply been avoided by either of them coming out to give us fans reassurance. I asked the question a couple of days ago and they have refused to come out and say 'anything'.

It does not need a genius to work out that this is an absolute disgrace of respect for us fans. The same people who asked fans to donate their Season Ticket money to the club in the middle of a pandemic to help it be run as opposed to having a refund. The absolute pure cheek of it is astounding.

When things go silent and when people in authority refuse to speak to the biggest stakeholders of this football club, which if you didn't know, is us fans, then questions and concerns need to be raised and answered and unfortunately certain people are hiding - draw your own conclusions on that.

The focus without doubt needs to be on the game on Saturday but irrespective of the outcome, Derby County are in serious danger and as fans we need to act. Do not say to me that it will all be okay if we stay up, it won't be. Do not be naïve to think that. We are in a huge mess. There is a reason why accounts get published and that is so fans can understand the situation of our club. This is way overdue, why?.

Mel Morris has invested alot of money in this football club but whilst doing so has made us an absolute embarrassment in the football world and has failed. Selling the stadium to himself was done because he overspent and screwed up. So many thought it was clever, it really wasn't - it was hiding his mistakes as custodian to this football club which resulted in the football club no longer owning the biggest asset which in turn will make any takeover complicated. Let's not even go there with the Arab failed takeover, due diligence of any interested party failed big time there and weeks were wasted with it.

Under his command we have seen absolute appalling recruitment. This has never been addressed despite being raised time and time again. In fact, we may as well appoint him as manager as I always thought it should be the football club manager that targets & buys players. I dont need to name names with this one but there is a player at this club who has never played second time around and is getting paid very well, wonder why...

Clearly our season has been nothing short of a shambles. You cannot blame the kids and you cannot blame the players to a degree, it isn't there fault they are not good enough. The captain of the ship is responsible for this. Important we back the lads tomorrow and hope and pray they get us over the line to keep our Championship status.

This post is not a rant. Its reality that our football club and the fab Derby people that work within it are in serious danger of being no more. Please do not say to me that this derails tomorrow, I am sorry but the situation is far worse than the potential relegation we face tomorrow. Feel free to bury your heads in the sands but things need to change at Derby County and quick before it really is to late.

I would say to Mel & Stephen, feel free to respond and give us reassurances, but they have already refused to do so. That my friends is all you need to know about who we currently have running our beloved Derby County.

Stephen Pearce needs to resign. Any CEO of any business does not hide like what you have.

Mel Morris needs to depart this football club and take all the debt with him. The stadium should be given back to the football club and included in any sale. He should swallow his pride and sell this great football club to the 'best' candidate and not just who he prefers. We both know there are offers on the table and you know who they are from.

After all, you are Derby through and through - said no one ever but you.

    Nick

I’m with you Nick...this is very serious and if we’re not careful we could be the next Bury then it’s too late.Sad some of the comments on here trying to make this thread in to a joke.I know the life commitment you have put in following our club and your efforts are admirable and when your worried we all need to be worried

  10. Is he still available ?
Bit of fun but I’d have him back in a heart beat

decent football, goals, decent signings, decent loans and vocal on touch line.Articulate to the press and fans.

Best live game ive seen in my 40 years following the Rams against Leeds Away and of course a visit to Wembley.
