I'm not a Southgate fan...these last 2 games were both dead rubbers, We knew it, The players knew it and Southgate wasn't too fussed about the results. Players aint going to go out hell for leather against poor opposition when there's more important games at the weekend...I find Deon Dublin more entertaining ☺️

I'm not a fan of Steve Evens but boy o boy he knows how to get the best out of what he has, Whether he bully's/cajoles players or knows a player that can fit into his system, Or just a good coach, This is not a fluke he knows what to do and he does it well. Now look at PW I'd wager he has more recourses as in wage budget, A ground and training facilities to die for, Gates averaging 25k + and more backroom staff. So why is SE doing better than PW after a 3rd of the season...5 points ahead...but we have 2 games in hand that we have to win to leapfrog Stevenage. Makes one wonder 😉

What did I think, A shrug of the shoulders and no big deal, I purposely missed the last 4/5 home games, The football was dreadful...imo, Nothing I can say that's not already been said. Assuming is what we all do, I assume I'll wake up in the Morning...but you never know 😁, There was a time when we were on that run of 16/18 games unbeaten posters thought 2nd place was on, Definitely play offs 🙄 but Derby do what DCFC are good at...kill the hope, I'll be at PP for the Wycombe game...ticket purchased...why? too many bangs on the head I guess 😇

We're currently sitting 7th on 27 points after 16 games, 30 games left with 90 points to play for, If we can't manage 55 points from those games which will take us to 82 points and a good shout for a play off place...then at the end of this season PW either walks as a failure or DC sacks him as there will be another rebuild and I wouldn't trust PW for another season in charge. I believe PW is here for this seasons end...unless something catastrophic happens with our results, January is going to be very interesting indeed, Another season in this division with the money that's on offer in the Championship...to get better players in will be more difficult...imo.

If we're where we are come January 1st then PW will have money to spend in the transfer window, If he fails to get us in the play offs then he's failed miserably, If he gets us in the play offs and we fail that might just give DC a little headache, If we win the play offs all well and good, If we go up in 1st or 2nd place all the Warne outers will be eating humble pie. As glass half full...PW still has a long way to go to prove he can be a success at DCFC, The inconsistency is very puzzling...imo
