Us simple fans find it hard to believe any information that comes out of Derby. After months of “ The cheque is in the post” and “The club is being run in  tandem” .  All we ask for is a bit of truth and honesty.

    'I', not 'we.

I guess we wait and see, but I can't stress how much I REALLY didn't want to see this come to fruition.

I really don't like the idea of a guy who is openly far right, with limited cash of his own, coming in to become the figure head of a unknown consortium. A 29-year-old at that.

This very much looks like a nail in the coffin to me, rather than anything I can be optimistic about. If you're anything but concerned then I would really like to know what you know, because this is a bigger red flag than the fake Shiekh in my opinion.

I'm a naturally optimistic so I am, optimistic, of course. I'm not sure what it is that you KNOW that makes you so 'concerned' I don't know anything about the bloke so, like I said, I remain optimistic.

They wouldnt put any money into the Company until they needed to in order to finance any investments.

The £2 is their incorporation share capital from October 2020. They have not actually ever filed accounts (nor have they been required to yet)

Quite. I rue the day that the great unwashed discovered companies house. Here's a hint to all, you can basically tell the best part of f all from the info on there, that's a freebie?

Mine too and my business is in Data mining for health care businesses. Don't need one if you are good at networking and already have all the contacts you will ever need. Some businesses operate in a smaller sphere of operations. Thought I might need one when C19 hit but now I have am glad I didn't as I have too much work.

Quite - Maybe people underestimate the cost of building and maintaining a website, like any business decision you have CBA thinking around it. Oddly, my day job was enabling data mining (in financial services) for end users, loved it some days!

I must be prehistory as I don’t Facebook , Twitter , Instagram or any other gram for that matter. Not interested in the slightest by “influencers” etc. I do realise I’m probably in a minority though ?? . Maybe that there is a website under another company name ?

Not as much of a minority as you may think - Some people seem to think that running a business is basically done sat in front of a laptop, and a in few instances they may be right but not many....

In a world where social media is the be all and end all of everything and the whole world revolves around likes and followers, not to even have a website in a customer facing company is at the best prehistoric and the worst extremely worrying.

It's really not. There are far more important things when running many businesses than creating a webpage. I know this because I manage to do it. I has it's uses in a lot of industries, no doubt but in this instance has no obvious merit.

It’s crazy that people think we wouldn’t find a buyer, I know I’m biased but id say we’re one of, if not the most attractive club to buy in the championship. History, stadium, fan base, academy, training facility’s, one club city just to name a few.

Quite - I think people misunderstand 'potential' as well. There's far more value in looking at Derby than any number of Premier League clubs like Southampton, Palace, Brighton would cost multiple times more but they're at their peak, they've essentially reached their potential....

His company doesn't have a website - That worries me

Who doesn't have a website these days?!?!?

Does it really worry you? My LTD company doesn't have a website, the company employs a few people and is the vehicle for revenue & expenses, assets & liabilities. There is, literally, no reason for me to go to the expense of creating and maintaining a website. Just saying, there are more relevant things to be worried about.

We would lose so much revenue (if we actually had any at the moment) if we drop down. We'd have to meet the salary caps down there as well (not necessarily a bad thing) and I assume there must be some kind of grace period for relegated teams and I know we've managed to bring the wage bill down a lot since then, but in 17-18 our wage bill was £46 mill. League one salary cap is £2.5 mill in total for the entire squad. I didn't fully understand it, but existing contracts get capped at an average I think, but still a very small number to meet with any new signings

Couple of things - I think it's a sad part of football today, we spend a lot of time talking about finances, I guess because so much more information is available. It was a bad day when people (and Kieran Mcguire) discovered companies house and decided they could add 2+2 and get 17

Secondly, in the same way that the tens of millions that a club gets for reaching the PL is rather overstated is it is basically all (and more) consumed by salaries and transfers, the same is true for relegation. We'd be losing players, so be it....

Had some of my happiest times following the Rams in the old third division, being the big club with big away support at little grounds was fun but I don't think it will be a positive thing for the club....

Me too, simpler times and all that! Big away followings, new ground and we won more often, what's not to like?

I started in the 3rd divison (Trevor Christie was my favourite player) if we end up being there “so what”.

    Nothing ventured - nothing gained.

Once a ram, always a ram.

Indeed, some of of my favourite times those couple of years in Div 3 ?

you make the assumption that being relegated ends all the other problems, not convinced it does.  Reduced income, the sale of our better players, the end of the academy?, not having a ground?, admin?, 12 point penalty?   I really don't want to toy with relegation because there is a threat to the future of the club
