So it is now common knowledge that golum was in fact interviewed as a replacement for RH at Palace .So seems he wasn't as loyal as the florest fans would have you believe.

Listen Steve, you've dodged a bullet mate. I managed to live in Derbyshire all those years, you'd have been living in this s*******. Spread your wings and fly pal, leave the old six fingers brigade behind, find a club that has fans who can talk and sing without grunting four times in every sentence

Getting a team marooned to the bottom of the championship, 1 point in 7, to the playoff (and almost top 2) has never been achieved before. No-one has even come close.

Obviously the playoffs are a lottery, but again, getting a side who've historically been bottlers in that competition to win? First Forest manager in 23 years to return us to the top flight.

And then to get that ramshackle side to stay in the league, with all the ridiculous numbers of signings and media circus that followed, again a miracle job.

You lot might downplay it, naturally, but he worked an absolute miracle getting us up and keeping us there. He'll get another great job after us, no doubt.

Another great job?  Well he might get another job

Oh, I agree that points deductions are real. That’s not an issue.
But our 11point record was “achieved” without a points deduction. Any team who earns 18 points on the field then had 8 deducted would not be “The worst team in history”!
Maybe if the points deduction was for playing players that shouldn’t have played, therefore cheating on the pitch to achieve those 18 points, then of course I’d concede you have a point (no pun intended!) but not for off-field financials irregularities.

WE SHALL NOT, WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED, WE SHALL NOT, WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED just like a team that's going to................. errrrr be the worse team ever and ever and ever

Should anyone "beat" our record purely due to a points deduction, I will refuse to accept it.

If we are to be beaten, it needs to be on merit!  🤣

Well said! They have to go through the pain of 4. 5. 6-0 hammerings.  They don't give these records out to any Tom Dick or Harry

This. I still look at the teams below us and think, we should have just enough to steer clear.

Seriously underperforming though. I'm massssssively pro Cooper, but it hasn't been good enough.

Said last season Forest fans will not put up with that football for ever. Soaking up pressure and counter attacking is ok against the top 6 but it is EVERY team they play. Only needed results to turn at home this season, for some fans to turn on them for the style of football played . We watch it as we are desperate for them to lose, but in reality any neutral would turn the tv off.

The big guy up front injured is a big miss, they need someone else up there now

I reckon it’s possible. If they loose a couple of 6 pointers against Bournemouth and Luton, they could be in real trouble. I reckon, against all the odds, Luton might have more chance of staying up than Burnley.

if they don’t get relegated, I think Bournemouth will overtake them. So I think they’re destined for 4th from bottom, but maybe lower.

Think Luton might scrap right up to the finish, if a few heavy beatings they will get doesn't deflate them too much. A lot more than our shower of s*** in 2007-08

He's younger than Wilson, he's never had a run of games anywhere other than fullback. He scores goals and provides assists, he runs at players. He gets stick for not being f****** Superman in the 10 minutes he gets here and there. His every mistake is examined in minutiae. But yeah you know what he's not better than Bellingham.

    too right

But he is played out of position. If only Warne would play him regularly as fullback when we had that long unbeaten run last season. That'll show them.

There have been stats provided, numbers you can't argue with showing how little Sibley plays but how well he does with the minimum time he gets. But better to just say at 22 he's a busted flush.

Surely he has been told again and again about stupid tackles and picking up bookings?  The lad just does not learn and hasn't got a footballing brain, some players never do. He will make a career, but not the sort i thought it was going to be

Didn’t take long for some to conveniently forget that Saturday happened. Barnsley cannot be ignored, our best performance under Warne  and off the back of two positive performances at home. Since Stevenage there has been a marked improvement.

Last night was awful. I took a Crewe fan to the game (who probably wishes he was in the away end and not around grumbling miserable Derby fans). Players were nowhere near at the same intensity, everything was slow. It happens sometimes in the cup, in the grand scheme I’d rather that last night against Crewe in the cup than against Bristol. We should draw a line under it and move on.

That being said while majority of blame for last night lies with the players, Warne needs to utilise his squad better. Playing the same team practically from Saturday with some old players in there, it was always a challenge. Although maybe the likes of Robinson would be in there if not called up.

As for Louis Sibley - he can’t be defended any more. He has chance after chance and never grabs it. There is a reason no manager has played him regularly since Cocu. He has skill and finishing ability but completely lacks any football intelligence, he’s not going to be the player we thought (I certainly hoped) he would be and he needs to move for the sake of his career.

Spot on. He just does not improve. The excuses of not playing regular or out of position is wearing thin and does not excuse a complete lack of footballing brain,  for someone who has played the game from a tiny kid
