  1. And this is in addition to Boros tax losses that he sold to another one of his companies, something that led to a change in FFP rules, although not a retrospective one as in another case...
  2. Not for me thanks. Find it much more appealing to have a local good guy trying to make us a sustainable club, over a billionaire treating us like their train set.
  3. The only logical conclusion I can reach here is that the panel don't have access to the following stats:- Number of 'Warneball' passes per match Number of crosses per match Number of minutes given to players under the age of 21 xG per match Likelihood of remaining in the Championship if we get promoted. It really is like a trip back to the dark ages where people think scoring goals at one end and keeping them out at the other end are the things that win you matches.
  4. Good, Sunderland let our accumulator down at the weekend and cost us £4300. On a completely different note, the Sporting Director, who it appears is calling the shots at Sunderland, is a guy I went to school with and was previously at Derby County.
  5. Because they've become that entrenched in their view of wanting Warne sacked that they will throw literally anything at him?
  6. Comparing a league table is superficial and a much more reliable comparison is you saying whether you think we were lucky or not in games?! 😂😂😂
  7. Because our other strikers weren't match fit?
  8. Agree regarding Fozzy. Think its way too early to be calling JJ some player, he hardly touched the ball apart from the goal. From memory didnt we create loads of chances against Port Vale last season?
  9. The last 2 sets of published accounts were 2017 and 2018. 2017 showed a loss of circa £8m. 2018 showed a profit of £15m, or a loss of £25m if adjusted for the profit on the ground. The cash loss for the 2 years combined was £9m. Net transfer fees for the 2 years was £10m.
  10. From memory, purchased the club for £50m and then injected a further £130m. Total £180m out of an estimated fortune of £500m. Recouped £20m of that from the sale of the ground? Covid/EFL gave him the perfect excuse to get out once he got bored and the fans starting asking questions about the finances. That's why I state it was not bad recruitment that got us relegated to League One.
  11. Only just seen this and it has coincided with me chopping up onions for dinner 🥺
  12. Id suggest you read the findings of the Independent Disciplinary Commission.
  13. Its not the reason we ended up in League One though. That is because MM got fed up of using us as his train set.
  14. Teams that recruit better players have better teams? Thanks for the fantastic insight. Don't think anyone is disputing that, just the notion that the only reason Derby are in League One is because of bad recruitment. If you can't see any other factors that played a part, I'd suggest its you with your head buried somewhere, not necessarily the sand, and not others.
  15. Hopefully we don't have to play Chelsea next season then when they are inevitably relegated due to their poor recruitment.
  16. That cant be plural, because 2 half chances would equal 1 chance and we only had 0.7 remember.
  17. That's a question only MM can answer. The FFP charges may have been the straw that broke the camels back or an excuse to get out of the financial mess he had got us in, I assume, once again, that is something we will never know.
  18. Exactly. According to the xG stat, none of the saves he made were expected to go in.
  19. No, going into administration was the choice of MM?
