Exactly this. Another outstanding show of support for Rooney and the team is required rather than a protest when we don’t really know who we should be protesting against.

But from what I understand, the £20m loan is on the Clubs books, but secured on the Stadium which is owed by MM.
If that is the case, the buyer has to settle the debt (or take on the loan). Its only MM problem if the Club is liquidated.
So, if my mind is working properly and this information is correct  the club is liable for a £20m loan on a Stadium they still won't own after its paid, unless MM then signs it over?

It's only a risky business due to unscrupulous types who don't pay their bills !!

I don’t think there is any scenario whereby Q won’t get paid and, whilst they may be expensive and none of may be particularly impressed with them, that’s the way it should be. Otherwise there would be a severe shortage of people prepared to act as administrators. If the bids are not viable then surely there is no alternative to liquidation.

Because administration doesn't work like that,it is not a case of highest bidder takes all.

How can Q force bidders to increase their offer, creditors to reduce their demands, Mel to reach agreement regarding the stadium or whatever is causing the hold up?

    Oh flaming hell
That time to protest against Q
If they wont hurry up let's force them too.
This our club they are messing with.

Thanks for that and I agree that HMRC are very much the key creditors but, do we know the offer to them is in the range of 35-40%?

Also, again - apologies as no offence intended, but you’ve not worked there since the rules were changed and HMRC were promoted to preferred debtors have you? Maybe, they’re playing more hard ball now.
All I’m trying to say is, it may well be the reason for the delay, we don’t actually know it is Mel that is the cause for the delay - either in full or part.

No. He is telling you what you think you want to hear and so you think he’s ‘on the money’.
He is generating clicks for his own account, clicks for any story he might decide to write and pretending he knows more than he does to ensure his click count remains high.  You’ll be happier if you put him on ignore.

That’s all very well but how do you know what the bidders are offering non football creditors? How much will HMRC be holding out for as a % of their debt (given your “inside knowledge”)? Maybe it’s finalising this quarterly review/increasing future payments in the event of the business becoming more profitable/a player being sold of a large sum/stadium naming rights etc that is the outstanding element.
Finally, and please don’t be offended, but have you worked in admin for HMRC since the new regs were introduced? Maybe the offer on the table doesn’t quite meet what HMRC consider reasonable.

You might well be right but how do you know the current bids meet the “demands” of the creditors (most notably HMRC)?

Destroy? I really do hope not. Liquidation, if it happens, and I still don’t think it will, would not be the end. A new club would start, not too far down in the pyramid, and it would still be DCFC notwithstanding what all the fearmongers say.

Sorry Curtains, but the situation is not serious.  Serious is sitting in a bunker in Ukraine, with no food, power or water, and hearing shells overhead.
Our situation is frustrating, perhaps annoying, but nothing much more. Very worst case we will be able to follow the Rams in a lower division. Nothing to get too depressed about really either, especially as we might starting winning and scoring again regularly.

There's nothing you can do about DCFC and there's a whole lot more to life than football.
Of course I don't want anything bad to happen to the club I've supported for 40+ years but I'm not going to worry about something that's out of my control.

Just putting it out there again, the reason we are not hearing anything is because we’ve been given breathing space to the end of the season, it does not mean we are going to be liquidated. The admins have stopped leaks that’s another reason.
The negotiations have more time to run now so they will continue to do so. It’s frustrating but that’s the reality, but it doesn’t mean doom. I think it will be end of April at earliest before we hear of any more meaningful progress.
Quantuma have been guilty of poorly managing expectations although curveballs have clearly happened along the way to derail things. But they are damned if they do damned if they don’t. They put comms out (that doesn’t say anything what’s the point in that communication), they don’t put comms out (what are they doing, clearly nothing happening, lying about us having bidders we are going to be liquidated).

Personally I’m pleased they are getting on with the job of what is proving to be a difficult and complex administration, and we all know why that is? (Mel)
I want them gone. They even want to be gone. We all want them gone and a new owner in place but if it was easy then it would be done by now.

Fair point although, the administrators would have had to satisfy an independent tribunal that force majeure was solely the reason for entering administration. Yes, Wigan did appeal but they lost.

We’re already despised for not paying our bills, even if a buyer came in now and cleared our debts completely there would still be the perception that we don’t pay our bills, and other fans will use that as another stick to abuse us with, whether we like it or not, that’s what MM’s done to us.
