Just not been good enough
sums up our first half that
simply not good enough
passing not good enough, intensity not good enough, composure not good enough, communication not good enough.
Absolutely crap so far
need a rocket up their arses
Probably couldn't find them with both hands.
Just now, caymanram said:Irony being that we believed the defence was sorted and possibly the best in the division. Expecting lots of 1-0s.
Yet, on the evidence thus far it’s a bloody shambles and joke.

He should be in goal. Jesus saves. If you believe in that stuff. 😉

Far to early in this season for anything overly negative
I would like to see a genuine spark to our play and a player that is good to watch.
442 would at least mean people know their jobs as well
knight and McGoldrick were very good players weren’t they
McGoldrick yes. Knight no. Headless chicken

Are we just going to forget we were God knows how many points clear within playoffs last season, with many rival fans tipping us for top 2, for us then to throw it away?
Would you prefer to wait until we are starring down a barrel (like many did) before admitting something may be wrong?
starring? down a barrel

Derby County Football Club has named Molson Coors Beverage Company as its exclusive alcohol pouring rights partner for the 2023/24 season.
The deal will see Carling, the UK’s number one lager brand, Madri, Carling Black Fruits, and Sharps’ Atlantic Pale Ale, Doom Bar and Cold River Cider on sale at all public bars during every Derby home game at Pride Park Stadium.

Max Bird was sublime yesterday v Stoke.
That ball to Joe Ward from the half-way line “inside-out-ed” the full-back; the back-heal to NML for goal #3. Pure class. Wouldn’t surprise me if Clubs show interest soon. But always thought MB’s best position was advanced midfield. If things stay like this, can see MB having his defining season and being the CPU of a team that out-footballs the rest."back-heal" Didn't know he had hurt his back. 😉

Unless he reads this forum he's not likely to notice and even if he does read this forum I expect he doesn't care about my opinion. I can only speak for my own posts in this case and he's a poor footballer who brings little to the squad, but if he scores a shedload of goals then he's earning his money. 😄
Most don't care about your opinion

Correct - certain ligaments only evolved after 1974. Before that, footballers simply had legs of raw sinew. They didn't even have to wear shin pads. Or boots
Jock straps?

that we have lost several of our better players and seemingly not replaced them with the same quality.
our squad is weaker than last years as things currently stand, and we didnt make the playoffs last year.
this is a season we really have to be challenging for the top 2, the current squad doesnt do that.

"a goalscorer Paul"?
It's a long while since we could call on a Paul to get us some goals... Kitson, Peschisolido, Dickov, Goddard, o Wanchope.
I think we may be a bit out of luck, the name's gone out of fashion and I'm not sure there are that many goalscoring Pauls about these days.
Yes it's a Pauling

Watched the home game on you tube. Davies sent off and Hinton of all people missing a penalty. 1 goal and they'd have gone . I've a feeling the ref for the home reported an approach and I think nowadays that would have been enough to see them suspended
Gemmil and McFarland were suspended due to cautions (yellow cards) in the first leg. The only ones in danger of missing the return.
Old news but still rankles.
