What's Warney most proud of...interesting response. Inject a bit of fun and a bit of realism...inducing the correct culture. Warney is very interesting when he talks about culture...he's a serious student and what I call a proper "cultural architect" - I'd liken it to what Cloughie used to do ...without actually knowing it was that. 

By the sounds of what he said about Waghorn, I reckon he signs. If it’s not this week, it’ll be soon most likely. Sounds like we’ve offered a deal but it’s just about everyone agreeing but i think personally it’ll happen.

Caller asked about missing out on targets and highlited Dale Taylor. Warne suggested he's a good signing for Wycombe but wouldn't be good enough for us.
Warne only wanted 2 other players who have joined L1 clubs.
Warne not excited by the loan market at the moment, but acknowledges real movement in that market doesn't happened until late August. Hinted at a preference of getting permanent players in first rather than gambling on loans later on.

That was a bit uncomfortable. Warne got a bit defensive there in response to another comment about the striker search.

It's very clear that he LOVES 'Wash' (Conor Washington).

Now repeating what he's already said about Waggy. 

Expects 6-8 goals from our CBs this season. We got 2 goals last season - 1 from Cashin and 1 from Roberts when playing CB.

He also said that, in terms of it being the last year of Bird's contract, he'd rather have the player than cash in. We are not desperate to sell.

First call - can we still go up without a marquee striker signed? 
Warne - yes.

Bird- rejected a bid which is significantly below our valuation. Warne told him as soon as the bid came in and accepted the decision. "Bird is happy"
