Phuket Ram got a reaction from jono in The Administration Thread
Could do without any more of Nixon’s guesswork being posted on here. It doesn’t help anyone, just his pushing his ego.

Shout to Ed Dawes.
He is a Derby fan and was as desperate for news as the rest of us.
He did the right thing in throwing that grenade on the fire last Tuesday. When the fallout settled the truth became known because Kirchner was forced to poo or get off the pot.
With time running out for us to find an owner it was vital that the CK bid got called out in order for us to move on before it was too late.
The abuse he has received for this by so called DCFC supporters especially to a fellow Ram has been awful.
Ed’s grenade may have come just in time to save us. He should be thanked for having the balls to pull the pin in the first place.

I don’t think he pulled out. We were all in a restaurant, he said he’d pay and it would be his pleasure. Then he says he’s lost his wallet and did a runner. Now we’re all doing the washing up

Stretford’s was in CK’s pocket for the PNE foray. And was to be on our board. And Rooney has been agitating for CK for months. It’s naive in the extreme to think there was not a very clear understanding as to Rooney’s role and terms under CK ownership

No they're not.
And as for Rooney doing a deal with CK where is your proof? I imagine CK talks a good game and Rooney assumed he'd be funding a new squad.
Rooney is not key to assembling the squad. Ask Swindon, Wigan, Luton, Blackpool et al. He most certainly is a good manager and a good draw though.

Not nonsense Roy, cold hard logic. Rooney and Stretford are too powerful to ignore.
Rooney obviously did some sort of deal with CK (for all we know he or Stretford might have had a piece of the deal) and Rooney is key to assembling next year’s squad. if Rooney won’t replicate the CK deal for other bidders, and if he won’t support those bidders, then those bidders bid less and creditors are worse off

The admins never said the money had been sent. Nixon did.

I’m sending this to Nixon to wear next time he appears. Which may be some time…

It will be easier for Q as they are now dealing with 'real' businessmen. Although MA has dealt with more administrators than Q have had hot dinners, so that might not be easy on them! ?

Sorry mate, the fixture list IS the determining factor as we won’t be on it unless we have a credible business plan and funds. Which means a buyer. No two ways about it. And regarding your “asset stripper” comment - you’ve been watching too many movies buddy, we don’t have ANY tangible assets. Maybe a stapler, but that’s about it. We have nothing to stip.

100% the buyer will be in before then.
There will definitely be some compo, but depends how long his contract was. I’m guessing £100k or something in that region. Will help but won’t be needed in my opinion.

The “evidence” was mainly Nixon’s bs. Most of the jackanory stories were sourced back to him. I hope we don’t hear from him again. He clearly fooled a lot of people. Plan B - Run for the hills? Can see why he works for the Sun.

On the plus side, the next time a club goes into administration, DCFCFans is the goto place for info and advice. We've all learnt so much over these last few months.

There will not be Preferred bidder now, no periods of exclusivity. It’s a question of whose money gets in first I think.

He owns the stadium but it’s not part of dcfc or administration, except that MSD has a charge against it for the £23m loan. Whatever happens, he won’t make a bean on the stadium.

Me and you both i said all along after a bit of digging myself CK had little cash equity and most funds were tied up in business not the sort of person we need if we are to get back in football terms,Clubs are not toys and play things it does take a hell of a lot of investment.
Q keep saying we have others lining up but starting to get very concerned now its only 10 days when the fixtures are announced and the EFL will be getting very concerned.
Worrying times
