Long time since I posted on here but I logged in to agree that this is by far the most sensible solution that all sides should be pushing for. Morris is the root cause of your problems and our (and Wycombe's) ire. He shouldn't hide behind the convenience of UK company law to avoid having to fix the mess he made.
I'm aware that you will all have strong views on Gibson but I'm 99.9% certain he would support this kind of arrangement, he doesn't want your club to go out of business. 

You shouldn't underestimate just how much our fans love Gibson.

My hope is that Morris puts his money where his mouth is and indemnifies the club against damages resulting from the claim allowing the club to be bought out and Gibson and Morris to have their personal fight in whatever arena they see fit.
I don't think we should drop a long standing claim simply because he chose to put you into administration, but I do think if legally possible that claim should be against MM, or at least paid for by him, and not against the club.
I and certainly the vast majority of Middlesbrough fans do not want to see your club liquidated and hope that your club gets out of it's current predicament as soon as possible.

I think we'll probably finish top 6, then it's pot luck from that point.

I don't feel I've wasted a day, I came to provide a Boro perspective on the situation which I feel I have. Some people, like yourself, have responded negatively and decided to take cheap digs in response, but ultimately I've enjoyed the discussion with many on here.

Having had him represent our club for 36 years after saving us from a far worse situation than your own, I think my judgement of him is probably based on a bit more than yours, and far less likely to be misguided. But thank you for your kind words.

Morris did say it was legal, his wording was that it was allowed in the rules at the time.
I don't know about the Bristol situation, but if your point is that FFP rules are not fit for purpose then we are in agreement. I have a far bigger problem with the EFL than I have any issue with Derby County or any other individual club. They want to sit in this goldilocks zone where they have rules on FFP and just hope that everyone follows them but they really really hope they never have to enforce them. As a result they are terrible at enforcing them and we end up with huge messes.
We weren't £70m over FFP. Look it up if you don't believe me but that it categorically untrue.

It is nobody but Morris' fault that you are in administration. Entering administration was a voluntary action taken by him.
