Reports that Reading are on the verge of being sold to some Yanks - is it cynical to think that the Reading owner may have used Wycombe and the training ground sale in order to extert pressure on the new buyers to get a move on?

Saw this on the BBC news last night - this woman and another who tried to set fire to the ballot box. Russian authorities apparently described them as 'scum'....

Next step Admin for them by the look of it - it's hard to see a positive way forward for them as they're now even less attractive than they were before....

I've posted this before, but worth repeating: I was working in Norwich while Earnshaw was playing for them and for a while he was at the same hotel I used to stay at - a more arrogant and unpleasant character you'd be hard pressed to find.... He had a huge Humvee which he used to either park on the double-yellow lines directly outside the entrance (which got in pretty much everybody's way) or else he'd park it across two of the disabled spaces - never in the (huge) main carpark. He also used to march about as if he owned the place and expected the staff to treat him as some sort of royalty - conversations I had with a number of the reception staff suggested he wasn't well liked. If his behaviour there was an indication of his 'normal' character then I'd not be surprised if he fell out with a number of folk at PP....

I think the PGMOL in conjunction with the FA should politely write to Forest reminding them that Clattenburg is no longer a referee and is therefore no more important than any other member of staff at the chitty ground - and if they continue to publicly challenge the authority of referees, they will be charged collectively with bringing the game into disripute and may be docked points accordingly.... Asteroid City - Wes Anderson films are normally watchable and what a great cast for this one - but I'm afraid I only lasted 30 minutes or so. After the intriguing beginning, it just slowed down to such an extent that I couldn't get a feel for where the story (if there was one) was going.....perhaps it got better and I'm being unfair but not for me....
