Incredibly poor, complacent start

Forsyth is a recurrence of the same injury, I’m told

2 of them are 34 and 35 respectively. What do you actually expect?
To be fair, not specifically these injuries. Just the number we’ve had in general. Think it’s beyond bad luck at this point.

At some point, do questions need to be asked of the fitness / physiotherapy staff after all the injuries we’ve had this season? Another 3 out

After such a huge win last weekend PLEASE Derby can we not bottle it in this game. Please, just for once, can we actually see the job through and make it easy for ourselves.
This is exactly the sort of game we’ve had many times this season - a chance to really put the pressure on the teams around us when they’re not playing. And every time, it feels like, we’ve f***** it up with a pathetic half-arsed performance. It’s time for this team to get a grip, work like they’ve never worked before, and put Northampton to the sword. Show that strong character and personality, and show that they can see the job through.
We’ve bottled it wayyyy too many times from this sort of position in my lifetime. PLEASE Derby let’s make this season different and see it over the line. Do it for f****** B4! COME ON YOU f****** RAMS

I did tell you all a couple of months back that Wildsmith refused to sign a new contract…
He’d have never played for us again, had it not been for Vickers injury

I don’t think this is a great idea, but something I’ve just thought of.
So Bradley has been playing well in defence and Forsyth was motm today, so could we fit both of them in.
Back 3 of Cashin, Nelson, Bradley. Try Forsyth out up front. He’s shown he can finish with his feet and he’s good in the air. Could he be a handy makeshift target man with his attributes. Imagine ward and sibley whipping balls in to him. We’ll also have that extra defender for set pieces. He was originally signed as a winger wasn’t he so playing further forward won’t be completely alien to him.
You were right

You’ve not really answered my question.
Which of the older heads and the younger players we currently have will struggle stepping up to the championship?
He doesn’t know any of our players because he’s not actually a Derby fan

Excellent first half performance, picked up where we left off against Bristol really. Very lucky not to be leading, couple of great saves from their goalkeeper and Cashin hitting the woodwork.
Need to keep the pressure up and find a way through. Just have this nagging feeling that Reading could hit us with a sucker punch… they usually do. Massive bogey team throughout my lifetime
