  1. Why didn't he start him? Why did we need another turgid first half?
  2. Even if Collins is fit - which he probably is - we needed another striker. Who (you!) said anything about the season collapsing? Oh what a surprise strikers cost more than most other players, who knew.
  3. Really? Like we wouldn't know to budget for expensive 'January' strikers? I think the obsession with 'got to be someone who is better/adds' to the squad or whatever it was is a problem. If we have no striker on Saturday any striker with two legs is better! Last January not getting a striker in was a mistake according to Warne. He's done the same again, waiting until the final hours only to be surprised when a deal falls through.
  4. Aren't Bird's tights calf length and the unknown players ankle length?
  5. How could it not, he's the current team manager.
  6. How do you know that? Maybe he's here to work on a very tight budget?
  7. Really? But The Prem is the overall aim. So according to Clowes then he's got 4 years to get us mid Championship. If only Mac had been given that long. πŸ˜„
  8. Ah right. πŸ‘ I was remembering a quote from a Percy Telegraph interview with Clowes "...Clowes believes that Derby can make it back to the top-flight in no time, and admits he is extremely positive about the future, he added: "Derby County is a big football club and if we get this right there’s no reason why we can’t be back in the Premier League in years to come." Not the same thing as you say.
  9. Clowes mentioned something about the Prem? So we can't judge him on getting us to the Prem, then what metrics? Standard of football? Income generated from player sales?
  10. πŸ‘ How do you ensure you're the best team?
  11. Shows how ordinary this league is and how good our individual players are. #DontgoMaxToolate:(
  12. Lots of comments on how they were 'possession for possessions sake'. But they weren't. Our defence was mostly too good for them. They tried but made the wrong decisions/ran out of ideas at times. They played nice football but needed more against us, they didn't have it. Nothing to do with their intentions. πŸ‘
  13. If so then he should have plenty to talk about as he's in charge of the Club now. Look forward to hearing all about the information he provides.
  14. Well if Pearce is under a (numerous?) NDAs how much will Clowes know?
