  1. Going to miss the next two big games, but I expect us to consolidate our league position. Hope they're good games I'm sure the PP atmosphere will be good. #COYR
  2. Most of our midfielders do as required by the manager - ie Hourihane made that quite clear. Sibley plays as required by the manager, he's never had a long (ie more than 3!) games in a midfield role, how on earth can he learn the position at this level. He adjusted to being fullback well enough, perhaps he could be allowed to adjust to being a goal-scoring midfielder? He's younger than Wilson btw, where will he end up under Warne?
  3. Yeah I'm trying to pack all the right clothes for our holiday. I keep putting the wrong things in the wrong suitcase, and I'm supposed to be the expert. Never mind they're big suitcases so all the stuff will come with us to Malta.
  4. Playing him in the Cup, how very dare they! 😄 As you say though, goals is goals and strikers get picked out by them.
  5. You alright @Jourdan you're thinking I don't want us out of this league becaue Warne is our manager, you couldn't be more wrong.
  6. Yes what do you want? Warne is still our manager.
  7. My grandad used to tell how some of the fans would grab the (bowlers) hat, when there was a crowd cheer, and pull it down over the hat wearers ears! 😄
  8. We're back, unless we've taken the wrong road! #COYR
  9. This bit cheered me up: "Principal risks and uncertainties Due to the principal activities of the company, the revenues of the business are susceptible to the on-pitch performance of the football team. This is mitigated by maintaining top class training facilities, in order to attract the best talent, having competitive wage budgets and operating a category one academy to ensure there is an appropriate player pathway to the first team and to build value for the future. The company's credit risk is relatively low and is primarily attributable to its trade debtors. Credit risk is managed by running credit checks on new customers and by monitoring payments against contractual agreements. The company is financed by cash injections and the revenue that is raised through its business activities. The objective is to ensure a mix of funding methods offering flexibility and cost effectiveness to match the needs of the Company; however the Directors note that such dependency on parent company support is critical to remaining a going concern." Hopefully meaning funds would be available if we went up?
  10. Don't we play 'kick and rush' type football? We'll have to disagree on the constitution of the league, althouth 3 teams doesn't really mean it's overwhelming even so.
  11. Your definition of 'clogger' is obviously different to the current parlance used for League 1 teams.
  12. It also shows how important ticket money and other revenue is at this level if there was any doubt.
  13. It might quantify a pass accuracy, but it doesn't make them 'cloggers'. What does ours look like as you have time on your hands.
  14. I agree with the Quantuma money, but I suppose we also have to think that supposedly no other 'reputable' Administrators wanted to take the Club on, I'm not sure what would have happened in that case.
