  1. I did too, but unlike Warne I didn't have detailed information on him, and he wouldn't reply to my WhatsApp!
  2. DET says: "Bradley relying on video to stop him being hit in the pocket ...A terrible day at the office was epitomised by the red card that Sonny Bradley picked up in stoppage time and he really can have no complaints. Warne said afterward that the centre-back had protested his innocence, but he is now staring at a three-match ban at a critical time of the season. Unless there is strong video evidence that can categorically show he didn't aim a headbutt at Manny Monthe, then he will be missing a key part of the run-in. He won't be able to face Blackpool, Portsmouth or Wycombe, three critical fixtures that are the hardest of the last six games of the campaign. It was a needless, stupid and reckless altercation which served absolutely no purpose other than to help Northampton secure all three points. And it now has major ramifications for the team given Warne is now likely to have to switch from a three at the back given there are no other fit centre-backs available. Warne said he will review the incident because he had not seen it again before he came out to do his post-match duties. But if it does turn out that Bradley has no defence, then Warne said a fine will be coming his way. The first thing Bradley should do is apologise to his team-mates. Yes, it's an emotionally charged game, yes there was a lot at stake, but he's let himself down at a time when Derby are virtually down to bare bones as it is."
  3. Exactly. Which part of 'a tricky question for them to answer' didn't you get?! πŸ˜„
  4. It's a tricky question for them to answer that don't you think? Say well actually we expected some of them to get more minutes in the Cup games and then look over to where Warne is sat? πŸ˜„
  5. πŸ‘ His distribution was better than recently. But he's not going to play the ball along the back four with any speed, Bradley isn't able to do much at pace. And just like our 'measured' throw-ins, we take our time. No good in pointing out what the opposition do when we do the same time-wasting.
  6. Yeah but without the actual reincarnation.
  7. How do you know that? He's scored some good goals but never gets a run in the same position that isn't as defender.
  8. Why does Warne keep picking him then?
  9. At this level I'd be okay with a youngster from the U21s, names forgotten. We won't look so turgid across the back line we'll be able to move the ball more quickly too.
  10. I don't understand why he didn't throw one of the centre-backs up front. But there's lots about Warne's football that seems inexplicable. The only good to come out of today is Bradley getting sent off.
  11. You're ignoring the one's he wasted? Oh and the fact he nearly made a great tackle at the edge of our box, again? There's worse problems than Ward, but why did we need all three of Ward, CBT and Wilson when it's obvious there's no-one in the box. You can go on about someone should have anticipated Ward's cross - who then?
  12. No there were their defenders who he found, and their keeper! πŸ˜„
  13. Oh come on. He'd taken one striker off and put Washy on for his first minutes since November. Even from the corner he didn't beat the first man with his cross, or he put it into the keepers arms. We'd got Wilson and CBT, why not another midfielder?
  14. We played better before his subs. πŸ˜„
  15. How many of his balls into the box reached a Derby player? Who was he aiming for btw?
  16. How would we play a four though, yet again we have no proper right back?
  17. So you're saying he wouldn't have been picked?
  18. https://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/2024/03/rams-youngster-allen-signs-first-professional-contract "...Academy Manager Matt Hale said: β€œCruz has done really well in the Under-21s and also the Under-18s this year and we are keen to recognise players that have come through our pathway here at Derby County. β€œHe has a lot of talent and this is fully deserved; we wish him well.” Allen is the third player from the Under-18s to sign professional terms this season, following in the footsteps of striker Dajaune Brown and goalkeeper Jack Thompson."
  19. Dunno. I thought Warne was wanting players for the Championship now? TBH maybe if we go up many will find it easier to move on?
  20. Yes, I can still remember happily (and even optimistically) singing along to 'Things can only get better' after one election result. πŸ™‚
