    There's only ooooonnne Tyson Fury!!
I actually like Fury and Joshua. Don't think I support a fighter like a football team.
I've even changed my mind during a fight before. I wanted Lemiuex to beat BJS but BJS put on such a display that who wouldn't want to see him move onto bigger things.
People say some weird things about boxing.
There's loads of criticism for Eddie Hearn shows. I'm guessing it comes from people who don't see other shows.
It's like in football where everyone wants to spot the foreign wonderkid who's 16 and better than boring old Messi/Ronaldo. Or the "gengenpressing"
In boxing there's little trendy bandwagon things to say isn't there? Anthony Joshua is a target for quite a lot of it. He either has no boxing ability or he's unbeatable.
Thrilled that Fury is back. He's a troubled guy but for him to be 29 and missing out on this heavyweight drama would be a massive loss. Not just for him but also the shadow it casts over anyone who dreams of dominating the division. He'd haunt them. The man who freed us of the boring Klitschko brothers domination.

Nights like this is exactly why Boxing is such an exciting sport. We all know what should happen but theres always the 1 punch that can change things.
Common sense says Joshua in the later rounds after his power and jab wears Parker down........however,
Theres something about Parker in the build up that I like, and I think he might rattle AJ. Wouldnt be surprised if Parker decided to test AJ's chin in the early rounds.
Can AJ resist the temptation to go all out and get it over quickly if he hurts Parker early?
Decision time........Joshua in round 5. Round 1 feeling each other out then all out slug fest.  It'll make good tv.
The undercard? Id love to see David Price beat Povetkin but highly unlikely. He's had some fall from grace but Steve Bunce has written a good article about him today. Price basically admits he's been brought in as a patsy tonight, but every underdog has his day.

If Price wins he automatically jumps to top three contender in three different boxing organisations, and I think the mandatory for one of them. It's the chance of a lifetime for him, and I hope he pulls it off.

I knew the result of the Easton fight before it aired on C5 so I didnt watch it.
I listened to the end of the Brook show on Talksport and the presenters were calling on Eddie to make the fight with Khan assp.
The early finish meant talksport had an hour to fill and they replayed "My sporting life" where Danny Kelly interviewed Carl Froch. Fascinating listen as he talked through his career from Amateur to Groves.
Just catching up with Wilder Ortiz. Seems like he answered a few questions. I can see a stadium super fight looming towards the end of the summer. It will be a genuine 50 50 one.

I love Taylor. Great to watch, seems like a good lad. He's so good.
Feel for Easton. What a fight though. Relentless. Foot just seemed to have it so easy getting inside and firing away. Easton fights very upright don't you think. He's got like a stiff style that seemed to suit Foot getting inside. A relaxed jab sort of approach could have made for a different fight. Like Easton. Entertaining, very tough, likes to entertain with a variety of shots and movement. He just couldn't get away tonight for 9 or 10 rounds. He battled well but it just never really looked like his kind of scrap.
Dave Allen with a disappointing draw after a 1st round stoppage. Cut to the eye.
Missed Kell Brook but apparently it was routine stuff. Still think we don't know what Brook has left in him. Have to see him go through a real battle before you can be convinced he's got that toughness for big dangerous fights. Think GGG fight has been a disaster for him really.
Wilder v Ortiz next. 2am is it?
Be interesting to see if Ortiz can catch him. Literally catch him. Wilder's best bet is to toy with him like the "38 year old" man he is.

Good performance from Josh Taylor, albeit against a stand in.
There will be some fun in Glasgow tonight for his Hibbee fans.

Re Gorman:  he reminded me of Fury in his early days, big lad but flabby and bullied his opponent into submission.
Agree about Yarde, he looks the part but needs tested.
Just watched Brooks greatest hits on sky mix. God knows where I was in 2010 - 2015 but I cant remember many of his fights.
I went back to the pub in Thurlaston to see when the Clinton Mitchell promotion was on.......it was a poster from 2016.. ...

A week late to comment, however I watched a few bouts on the BT sport card last week and the Ronnie Clark v Zelpha Barrett fight was a classic.
Big upset seeing Clark win, but his experience helped. Mind you, he's got a bit of a ropey past.......
Next up was Daniel Dubois, his opponent was ex army and game. Dubois didnt impress, im not convinced the Warren stable has a genuine heavyweight contender with him.
They were also talking up Nathan Gorman, but blimey, talk about out of shape and labouring to a win.....
On to tomorrow and Kel Brook.  It seems to have passed the mainstream press over. Lets see if he still has the desire if he takes a few decent shots.

5 live Bunce and Costello podcast this morning pretty much saying father and son need to split up.
At the press conference Eubank senior saying that Jnr didn't listen to a word of advice during the fight.
Talksport had Bellew, McGrory and John Rawlings doing the live coverage.
It was a really good listen as they covered all upcoming fights at home and abroad.
All 3 of them are concerned for Joshua if he fights Wilder.

I didn't find the fight boring. It never really exploded but being on the edge like that was exciting. Plus it was exactly the right approach for Groves. Why brawl when you have the class?
I found it boring ITV claiming the up close fighting suited Jnr. He lost the inside work too! Groves was rolling and ducking and man handling him most the time. The rest of the time he was answering shot for shot. He was stronger, far more skilful and I thought he scored a knockdown. I think he could have taken him out too. Should have.
I thought Walsh beat Lowe. The draw was a bit of an easy way out for what would have been a unrewarding ending for Lowe's great efforts. But Walsh snuck it.
Jnr Could be an exceptional fighter. His discipline, his prep, his physique and arrogance are all great.
But it's the stunts and the Dad. Stupid stunts and a Dad who is trying to showboat through a very dangerous sport. He can't help him in the corner. He's been there purely for show. And when Jnr  needs help then what's he got? What is his back up plan?
Before he goes in at this level again he needs to ditch the Dad. Stop being a celebrity.
The production of these Super Series shows is amazing

Ultra White Collar is coming up. It might be that event? It's not at the arena though.
They have a promising Asian lad but I can't remember his name. Could be to do with him?
And then there's Zach Parker who is the Derbyshire boxer fighting on the Groves undercard.

Sorry, but there's absolutely no need to be listening to music in an office. Having to ask someone something 3 times before you even have their attention soon wears thin.

Selfish motorists. The ones that don't have a clue what zebra crossings mean, and the ones that think 2 seconds after the amber light turns to red it's ok to speed up and pretend it's a green light.
Actually, driving standards in general are deteriorating at an alarming rate.

Post as much rubbish as you like.
First step back tomorrow, you were always going to feel anxious tonight. Blimey, I feel the same after 2 weeks off in the summer after a holiday.
It will get better as each day passes, and you get into a routine.
    All the best for tomorrow.

For the wine officianado's, I can recommend the white wines from "3 choirs" which is a winery in Gloucestershire. Well worth £8 per bottle.

For those interested, talksport have a 2 hour boxing show every Saturday night, 10pm - midnight.
Gareth A Davies co hosts it, and it's been a good listen. They cover boxing across the globe, not just the uk.
Tyson Fury phoned up for a chat a few weeks ago. He's apparently on the show this Saturday as well.

I've read a few other comments about Rams tv being on the monitors in the concourse but with no sound.
My lipreading isn't what it used to be, so it would be good to listen to the interviews and comments pre match.
@OwenB557 any chance you could run round the concourses about 2pm with a remote and turn each one up, or perhaps have a word with someone to see if we can listen to the experts on tv.
    Cheers.

I wonder how many people will shell out for this one given Haye's recent history of pulling out of fights?
Must admit, I'm a bit underwhelmed by the thought of them going through another build up. It got a bit boring the last tine.

First 3 rounds he looked brilliant but his work rate faded as the Mexican came on strong. The better eye catching shots were from Frampton but as Steve Bunce said at the end, if the fight was in Mexico then the verdict may have been different.
It was a 10 rounder, and if he was made to go another 2 rounds then he might of been in trouble.
Frank Warrens promising an open air Windsor Park world title fight in the summer.

Brilliant fight, so many punches landed on the chin. Woodstock from Leicester is a decent fighter.
