Same here really! That back 4 of Nyambe, Nelson, Cashin & Fozzy is as solid as it gets at this level. -

The round of 16 games are 27-30 Jan, and Q/F's are 2-3 Feb, so I think he'll only miss the 1 extra game (Charlton at home) even if they get through the group stage. Not worth us getting too concerned about really. -

Only 8 of the 24 teams get knocked out after the group stage, so the win in their first game might well be enough to see them through. After 2 games played each, there are currently 12 teams on 2 points or less. -
Blinkers? He played Sibley instead of JJ against Lincoln on Saturday 🤷♂️

Reading 2-3 Derby Collins
-
What do you propose we do if Collins gets injured or when he gets suspended?
-
Well? Did he score?!
-
It doesn't matter how many times this gets said, there's still people who think he can leave for nothing 😂
-
Or to put it another way, it's not going to happen!
-
He's decent enough, the issue is that playing a 3 of Smith, Hourihane & Bird seemed to leave us short in attacking areas. When Hourihane is suspended then Smith will probably come in to play alongside Bird and he'll do just fine.

Nice to see some realistic ratings, given some of the standard OTT reactions to last night, a game we clearly deserved to win given the 6 or 7 big chances we created compared to their 2! 31Vickers 5 2Wilson 7 35Nelson 7 6Cashin 7 20Elder 5 17Sibley 6 11Méndez-Laing 7 8Bird 7 4Hourihane 6.5 7Barkhuizen 7.5 5Bradley 6 19John-Jules 6 16Thompson 6 9Collins 6.5

Who was the last player that we paid an up front transfer fee for? Joswiak? -

If, and it's a big if, we have had a £250,000 bid turned down at some point this window, how high should we realistically go for a player we can get on a free in the summer? Certainly no higher than £500,000 in my opinion. -
Terrible refereeing... its never a penalty, then evens it up by turning a strong yellow into an instant red.

Derby 2-0 Collins

It's the same posters having the same hissy fits every bloomin' transfer window. They were also convinced that Charlton (13th) & Reading (21st) had recruited better than us in the summer and would certainly finish above us.
