When you've got a small stone stuck on the sole of your shoe and you're too embarrassed to lift your foot to remove it in public and you look for an opportunity in a side alley to discreetly do the business and it goes tih tih tih with each left step and everyone is looking at you and the alley is taken by a drunk and his girlfriend and then your mom shows up. That irks me every time

When I lived in Chicago, I too got asked this a lot, I replied, Yes I have, and just before they responded I would then say 'Brian May is my favourite.'

And there are at least three fake goodbyes before the real one. Also, they block anyone wanting to enter or leave the place. The forgetful ones are pain too, they literally don't know if they're coming or going

Paphos in Cyprus. Typical of my luck that it's meant to be cracking the flags back in Blighty. Don't usually go away during the footy season but our form has been that dire, I needed something to take my mind off it. Bit of warm weather training. Back next to week to boo vociferously.
