Interesting responses from those of you that use railways regularly, you seem fairly content with the prices and service. But factor in a second person, and the road prices always work out much cheaper. I travel with a partner, and rail just isn't an affordable option for us. Not to mention the overcrowding, lack of facilities, cancellations etc.

Not specific to Derby County but I see lots of comments from our supporters frustrated with rail travel both to home and away matches. I don't know whether this is transferable across gender, but I find trainers with their flat soles really uncomfortable these days. I wear New Balance running shoes, which are really lightweight and have curved soles that really seem to help the forward movement!
