Yes, it can be a bit hit and miss in real time but they usually get it right after a while. It took them a few days to correct Lissah on the bench (they originally had E Brown) for the last U18 game.

Not that I’m aware of. I’m filling on Soccerway although they have a slightly different lineup to the one @Ghost of Clough posted (although Soccerway do tend to make mistakes in real time which they correct later, sometimes a few days later).

A couple of familiar names. Clarke (Trialist B) is starting at CM, whilst Eze is on the bench.
Trialist A is Josh Chapman, a keeper from Sheffield Utd
The other sub Trialist is apparently Ellis Brown. A winger from non-league Hornchurch but he appears to be 25

Still in his first proper season as a member of the U23 (only 18). Given his size, he's struggled to make much of an impact this season. It also hasn't helped that he was tried out in an AM role for a bit.

He came through the same age group as Foster and obviously found himself being 2nd choice. We don't have any U18s stepping up next season but I wouldn't be surprised to see Roberts involved in some matchday squad. We also still have Foster, Idem, Yates and Sykes-Kenworthy. 
Looking at the current squads, we have a large number of keepers, but this is how I see things playing out for next season:
First Team
Marshall - 1st choice
Roos - Backup
Carson - End of contract
Mitchell - End of contract
Ravas - End of contract
U23s
Foster - Loan or 3rd choice GK
Idem - Loan or 3rd choice GK
Sykes-Kenworthy - U23 1st choice
Yates - End of contract
Halwax - U23 backup
U18s
Roberts - U18 1st choice or U23 3rd choice
Randle - U18 backup
U16s
Evans - Promoted to U18s. U18 3rd choice
 
Back to Halwax, I expect this is down to game time (with the benefit of being closer to home) due to the number of keepers we have available for the U23s at the moment. Numbers should be reduced next season and he'll start to get a few games for.

It's that time if year when there's a bit of a shuffling of the decks across the major academies (of which of course we're one).

Burnley scored a potential Puscas award winner (bicycle kick into the top corner) to draw things level.

I think these are both trialists. Jaden Forrester is a Wolves player and Steven Bala, I think, is at AFC Bournemouth.

Going to league 1 would probably vastly improve academy players chances of breaking through tbh but maybe it’s not much of an incentive if your ceiling is as high as Gordon’s
