  1. Derby County Women reached the FA Women’s National League Plate Final last weekend with a 4-2 success at Exeter City and, to celebrate reaching the Final against Cambridge United in April, RamsTV has collated the best of the Ewes’ goals from their run in the competition. https://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/2024/02/women-feature-the-road-to-the-national-league-plate-final
  2. He must be ………I read it on the clubs tinternet thingy! “The 27-year-old, who can play at right full-back or on the wing, joins the Rams having spent a successful five-and-a-half seasons with the Posh.”
  3. Wildsmith Ward Nelson Cashin Sibley Adams. Bird Hourihane Mendez-Laing Gayle Blackett-Taylor
  4. Let’s put this fixture into some kind of perspective before the clubs pre match press conference. League 1 form guide………last four matches. League 1 form guide………last six matches. League 1 form guide……….last eight matches. League 1 form guide……….last ten matches. Currently the worst performing club in League 1. As for predicting the starting 11………………I’ve given up on that one! 👍😁
  5. All archived on the Beeb, used to work years ago, not anymore. 👍😁 https://www.bbc.co.uk/derby/rams/derby_county_interviews.shtml
  6. I’ve a feeling the meerkats will be restless tonight! 👍😁
  7. Here’s an insightful tactical appraisal of the first 45 minutes pinched from the Charlton forum! 👍😁 “Their brand of shyte is marginally more creative than our brand of shyte. Utter shyte nonetheless. This league is just, well, utter shyte.”
  8. Hopefully.🐏👍 Wildsmith Nyambe Nelson Bradley Cashin Smith Adams Wilson. Bird. NML Gayle
  9. Wildsmith Nyambe Nelson Cashin Elder Adams. Hourihane Mendez-Laing Bird. Blackett-Taylor Gayle
  10. An absolute thing of beauty. 😍 Around here you ask for a pea mix and they look at ya gone out!
  11. “pick that one out of the net Mark Crossley” I always enjoyed Richards impartiality during commentaries! 👍😁 ……………..welcome back Ed
  12. Apparently it was Blackburns Harry Leonard who was all lined up on transfer day to boost our forward options along with Collins. Anyway, pinched yesterday from elsewhere. Harry Leonard has missed the last two matches through injury which was described as a 'knock' by Eustace at the weekend. However, the striker took to Instagram to suggest he would be out for an extended period of time. He wrote: "Gutted to hear I'm going to be out for a while. I'll do everything to come back stronger." Eustace revealed that the young striker has suffered back injury but he's hopeful it won't be too serious. Leonard is still set for a number of weeks on the sidelines, though. ……….funny old game football.👍🐏
  13. Saturday match, my house at 10.45, bus to Spalding, 11.23 to Derby ( change at P/boro & Leicester) arriving at Derby 13.27. ….17.50 from Derby to Spalding (change at Nottingham & Sleaford) arriving at 20.27 and all for just £33, then home for a chippy supper at 9 o’clock. Midweek, no chance……….A16/A52 👍😁 A Football Supporters Association poll morphing into a political point scoring thread. ………………Who’d a thought it.
  14. Posted my expected starting line up for Saturday earlier on today, then realised that we’d have an outfield bench of Ward, Wilson, Sibley, Hourihane, Blacket-Taylor and Gayle. We’re never going to have a better chance over the next 13 games of getting out of this dire league! 👍🐏
  15. Reckon we’ll set up for a massive 0-0 boring draw……and I’d be happy with that. I’ve completely given up on let’s play thro midfield, wing backs bombing on, three up front and using a couple of out and out wingers. We’re now at the Buisness end of the season, blood, sweat and taking one for the team is what it’s all about…..and a swarm of subs around the 70 minute mark! Wildsmith Nyambe Bradley Nelson Cashin Elder Adams Smith Bird NML Barkhuizen
  16. Chadd Park Hotel?……..went all upmarket as the Beau Brummell. 😁 As for shoes……………………..Skechers for me as well.
  17. Pinched from the Stevenage forum……..sure was a big day out for em! 👍 It is actually seventh (I missed the FAT final against York when posting from the car - that was 47 more than today). Second largest league attendance. Trophy final vs Kiddy = 53,262. Newcastle FA Cup = 36,705. Spurs FA Cup = 35,757. Villa FA Cup = 32,343. Sheff Utd (normal league game in first season) = 30,043. FA Trophy final vs York = 27,102. Today = 27,055.
  18. I still think that if it’s three at the back then Wilson & Sibley have to be the wing backs. I still think that if it’s a back four then Nyambe, Nelson, Cashin & Elder start. I still think that if you include Blackett-Taylor then you have to play a front three. I still think that it should be a midfield three of Adams Smith & Bird at Barnsley. I still think that while we’re winning………………….sod it! 👍😁
  19. Oh I don’t know……..reckon it’s got a bit of a way to go yet! 👍😁
  20. Yeh but, come on, they had two not given against Reading! 😂
  21. Steve Evans interview, penalty, penalty, penalty, referee, penalty ……. then quite complimentary about the build up to the goal, the finish, the crowd Paul Warne and the club.
  22. Paul Raynor? ………….played against him when he was at Forest, puce faced, love it! 👍🐏
  23. Dwight Gayle League appearances 2023/24 season 0 goals in 10 games 2022/23 season 3 goals in 35 games 2021/22 season 0 goals in 8 games. 2020/21 season 1 goal in 18 games. 2019/20 season 4 goals in 20 games. Five years, 8 goals, 91 games. Personally I’d probably prefer the “melt from the national league” 👍🐏
  24. Charles Breakspear was in action last night at Newport. In his previous 8 matches he’d dished out an amazing 53 yellow, and 5 red cards. Last night at Newport v Notts County nothing, zilch, zero! Thinks someone may have had a word about all the bloody paperwork!
