The truth is, there's zero excuse to still be in an embargo after we submit the accounts.
Pay HMRC. That's all you need to do
Like other clubs, Derby have been given an extension. There is no panic on this.

David said he's getting his post fact checked before he can put it out there. I suspect after the reaction to the Punjabi Rams tweets last night (to which they've been really quiet about today) and the guy who got his few minutes of fame on local radio this morning, that the club decided that they need to make sure that the supporters reps who were at the meeting last night need to word there responses more carefully so people don't all jump to worst case scenario reactions.
I think the intentions behind the meeting are correct - to clear the air and give some answers to people they think they can trust and will be able to communicate well with the rest of the fan base. However, the demand for answers from fans and the knee jerk tweets last night have intensified the feelings between fans and chairman/club instead of putting people at ease.
I'm sure we'll have some sensibly worded responses/reports from last nights meeting soon and also find out the answer to the important question... Does Mel have pineapple on his pizza? If he does, he can F right off out of here...
How do we know that the facts related by Ramstrust and the Punjabi Rams aren't a fair and honest account of what was discussed. We await David's account to balance the issue.

Derby manager's representatives contact police over images | Football News | Sky Sports
"Wayne Rooney's representatives have contacted the police over what they believe was an illicit attempt to entrap the Derby boss with a range of explicit photographs...
...There is no suggestion that Rooney acted inappropriately, or even that he was aware what was going on around him.
People close to Rooney have confirmed to Sky Sports News that the matter has now been handed over to Greater Manchester Police, who have yet to comment."
Read somewhere that GMP had now passed the matter on to Cheshire Police !....for some reason
-
Yet again, we have no idea what is going on. Is it fair of Rooney to come out and make some oblique comments about needing help from inside and outside the club? Help regarding what exactly? There's no point in making comments with no substance.
The situation is turning into a farce. The club are saying nowt and seems frozen in the face of adversity. It has zero communication and involvement with supporters. Meanwhile, the EFL may have changed stance yet again. If so, this organisation is out of control and needs bringing into the real world. Let's hope that the move to bring in an independent regulator with oversight of football's so-called 'authorities' goes through quickly.

Looks to release or find clubs for Hutchinson, J.Brown, Watson.
Iy may be Stretton's season to shine, but in the Championship....really?

It was far too cheap before compared to what UK subscribers have had to pay to watch the same thing.
£25 per month to have access to most home and away games for the entire season still sounds a reasonable price.
I would agree until you see the number of games that Sky were screening (especially midweek) or another outlet showing abroad, so precluding Rams TV coverage.

Agreed. But we were in the wrong. Read the judgment. We tried to ‘game’ for some benefit but secured none. None of that though excuses the shitshow performed by the EFL.
After all this horrendously protracted affair, the only misdeed which the club has been found guilty of so far is failing to "exercise due care" in relation to an important obligation", the amortisation of players.
The panel found the use of a different (otherwise well-used ) system was a breach of League rules and had not been clearly set out enough in the accounts. However, it thought that it had not been proved that the club gained an advantage over other clubs or allowed the club to spend more money on players than permissible. Therefore, no sporting sanction was applicable for the breach.
Now we wait for the re-worked accounts. If they prove (if.....!) to be within the limits, then a lot of people will have egg on their faces and owe an apology to the club and its owner.

Great guy to have around the club. I hope Derby offer him a coaching position this summer.
Can't do any worse than the current ones, on the strength of this season.

'What would Mac do with this team'?
give them confidence and an identity. Play good football, score goals, probably concede some too but we seem to do that no matter who's in charge anyway.
It's not what we think he would do, it is what he thinks he would do. According to a recent interview, he has been watching Derby a lot so must have a good idea of the set-up and its current failings. Which is a lot more than Rafa or Eddie Howe when a quick turnaround is essential.

Ghost is right. Need more atmosphere on the sound and need less sound from Mr Woodward. He doesn't get it, that TV commentary is not the same as for radio. Too much flannel. Yes it is. ....it really is. (sorry).
Apart from that, much improved this season watching on PC. Very few dropouts and much more reliable.
-
Have to say that I was lot happier with the commentary for the QPR game. They seemed to get the balance for speech right and it fitted with the game on the screen better. More please! (ps it wasn't Jack doing it. he still does radio commentary). Picture staying more stable too.
-
Will somebody somewhere please tell Jack Douglas to kindly shut up a bit during his match commentary. Gab gab gab.
Please sort it. Today's under 23 game was spoiled by his incessant chatter. Great performance by the under 23s though.

To be balanced his friendly games commentary and his league commentary are a bit different.
I don’t know why he thinks we need to listen to more chit chat with his co commentator on non competitive games I’m sure.
Overall he’s ok, he’s obviously done it a while so why would he listen to our advice?
I used to work in radio (for 30 years). Trust me, he needs to change his style. Owen showed him how to do it and he is a radio man.
Can be done but they are very different media.

had same problem 2nd half
Just to say I agree with that has been said about Wolves coverage.....stream dropped out several times especially in second half. Surely about time the streaming company had sorted themselves out,.....and Jack needs to talk less. He's not on radio....he's doing tv coverage.
-
Great service but I wish Jack Woodward would stop talking non-stop during the game. It's like a radio commentary, constantly explaining exactly what we can see.. He doesn't need to keep burbling away, some of the stuff is inane, including running through the strength of the Rams bench today by name. Think we know it by now!!
