The best time to be a fan was the Arthur Cox year's in my opinion. The pop side and away games were something else.

I don't think that's fair personally. I can't speak on behalf of those supporters who like me agreed with his strategy of spending big to try and achieve promotion, but I made the mistake of trusting him and Pearce when they reassured fans at every forum they did where they repeatedly said, "we will be within FFP limits and will comply with the rules." I'm certain I and many other fans would have a completely different opinion if they were transparent at the time and told us we could make these signings and comply with the rules, but to do so we will have to sell the stadium and use a different accounting method to all other clubs. At that stage, I was under the impression we were pushing it close to the limits but the sales of players like Hendrick, Ince, Hughes, Christie, Vydra, Weimann and others would keep us just within.

Tall. German. Exotic name. Looks like one of the blokes who works in McTurks. Never heard of him. Sign him up.

Seems like a good time to drop this one out especially with the heading of the thread, it will be a few more weeks yet, aiming for the end of the season to give everybody something to fill the boring weeks in between with !
When it’s ready I will expect a rush of orders ! I am obviously biased but I am really pleased with it, a comprehensive book about every one of our shirts, badges, sponsors and a few juicy bits of gossip and a genuine re write of the history books with he expertise of Andy Ellis and Jason Shardlow.
