Your name fits you well .. nuts 😵💫
Sorry, see the edit.
We've at least changed formation/system
Rather than just replacing what isn't working with.. what isn't working.
That said it may still not work as 3 at the back is s****.

We'll still get something out of this.
These subs seem to have more purpose (change of system)
-
Were our subs designed to achieve anything in particular?

We won't go anywhere until we have a midfield that want to tackle.
Or a manager who wants them to.
It's all about our ball recoveries from our press, not our tackles ..

I categorically do not want to see Vickers in goal for us again. Ever since he’s come in we’ve looked so shaky. We had a settled defence and he’s changed it up again, exactly the same as last season. Here comes the bit dip off and another season of league 1 football
It feels horrible to think it really, given what he's gone through but no he just doesn't look the part.
Similar to when we had Brad Jones, his personal circumstances were awful and it felt like we shouldn't criticise, but...

much more of that, and we'll all be needing some CBT! 😲
tbh after seeing what it's done to one poster on here I'd stay well bloody clear.

This might be the crappiest 'good' Derby team (relative to the league they are in) I've seen.
Probably because at times we get away with being crap and winning anyway, we fall into that pattern and it takes a while for us to step it up in games we start poorly. A bit of complacency.
We're looking better the past 5 mins and I expect a much better second half.

Assume we're going to complain about Barkhuizen not being booked there?

I wonder if there's some sort of device that could be fitted to Collins to keep him in the opposition's box when we are crossing into it?
He seems to take great delight in being in precisely the wrong place at precisely the wrong time.
A unique attribute for a striker.
He ends up on the left when NML wanders central.
Otherwise there would be nobody out wide to receive the ball.

If one of our players made that tackle and got sent off we'd be up in arms.

It was a foul but nothing like a red card.

NML crap so far. Getting it too often with his back to goal.

I'm not sure thie vision many of have CBT on one wing and NML on the other will be be in effect as often they're imagining, although I'm not saying it'll never happen.
One of the only big downsides mentioned by Charlton fans is CBTs lack of defensive effort and contribution and we don't exactly have high expectations of NML in that regard, so playing them both wide at the same time could be defensive suicide. Niambe may cope down the right, but from what we've seen of Elder (and as his career history would show) he's a good overlapping fullback playing in tandem with his winger, but you don't want to be leaving him exposed as he doesn't seem the calm/composed type.

I'm amazed no club does this. Have them come out like a surprise WWE superstar showing up in the Royal Rumble.
"Bah gahd! What's Corey Blackett-Taylor doing at Pride Park!
The closest I can think of for us is Stephen Bywater. Emergency loan announced on the same day we played Hull away, straight into the starting lineup. BBC has it being confirmed around 1PM for a 5:30 kick off, but it was a complete surprise to me as I'd spent the preceeding 24 hours away from home with no internet access and only saw the result of the game late that night. He was one of 2 signings made just before the game but I can't remember who the other one was.

Knowing how they've treated us in the past, if it was abandoned after 16 minutes with Derby 1:0 up they'd probably award Reading the 3 points.
If it was abaondoned after 50 minutes with us 5-0 up, we'd be deducted 3 points. Reason being that clearly the actions of the Derby County and its players could be seen to be 'taking the piss' out of disadvantaged Reading, thus inciting their fans and therefore causing the pitch invasion.

Bloody pathetic innit? Even if Toney hadn't moved the ball and had taken it from its original posiiton it would still have been a goal.

Wish we could sign a striker who wasn’t a big lump it to kind.
Been linked to a few but this is who we may end up with 😞
I guess, but it would be pointless us signing a different kind of striker (especially on loan) when the team isn't set up to make use of them.
If the aim is just to get out of this league at all costs I can't really think of any better option.

Could have told you CBT would try to shoot rather than play someone else in but ehhhhh he'll score enough, hopefully, to mitigate for those moments.
