Like Alan Hinton, Ted McMinn and Paul Simpson. So a proper winger then 🙂 -

I've predicted a 0-1 to Derby, but the more I'm thinking about it will both teams set up to avoid losing and we end up with a poor game and a 0-0 draw? Lets see! -
Both Stadium and club are owned by Clowes Developments, so I'm sure its not a problem.

I wonder if DC has considered selling new shares to fans, with fan appointed directors to represent that shareholding?

Portsmouth 0 Derby 1. FRGS Sibley.

Plus one on ditching the pre match music. Its awful.

Interesting to hear the pompey fans experience of poor owners and how hard it is to get out of the lower leagues. Hope we both can get established in the championship next season!

Coming to Derby. Advice please folks.

Be sure to try a pint of Dancing Duck ale, locally brewed in Derby and award winning. I'd suggest the Exeter pub for food and drinks. Excellent pub. -
Derby 2 Blackpool 0. FRGS Sibley.

Prediction for how it will end
Simmo’s left foot replied to simmoram1995's topic in Derby County Forum
My prediction is that all the top 7 teams will drop points and wobble. I'm hoping that Northampton was our wobble. If we bounce back with a win on friday and hopefully at least a draw at Pompey then we can hopefully hold second place. What we need is for us to wobble less than those below us! COYR. I'm sticking my neck out to say second place on 90 points. -
Plenty of positives. We are 4 points clear, we have a home game, some decent players and a large attendance to cheer us on. Also its highly likely that the teams below us will drop points and suffer wobbles, just as we have. Lets get behind the team B4 style and push on. Moaners and boo boys are not welcome.

So we lost a game, remain second four points clear with the team below having a game in hand. some or even all the teams below will have bad days and drop points. It’s how football works. Some people want to fire the manager. I’m just thankful we have a sensible owner. -

poor game today, but a draw would have been a fair result. We were offfish all over the field today, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. bring on the next game 👍👍 -
Will the last three games sell out.

Northampton 0 Derby 2. FRGS Sibley. -
Really, so drug taking, throwing stuff that could cause injury and vandalism is just letting off steam? There are signs all around the pride park about such behaviour, yet nothing is done home or away when it happens?
-
Why are they not dealt with then? Grab them by the collar, ID them and remove their away memberships immediately, and ban them from pride park. Simple.
-
Derby 2 Reading 0. FRGS Sibley.
-
Bristol Rovers 1 Derby 2. FRGS Bird.

Portsmouth Away moved for TV
Simmo’s left foot replied to Caerphilly Ram's topic in Derby County Forum
Thats so true. Why, because of player wages being way too high. When will this silly bubble burst! I think the only way is to make rules that restrict the wage bill to a % turnover, and an immediate points deduction to any team who declare a trading loss. Then remove parachute payments and put relegation clauses in every player contract, so relegated players only get paid the going rate for the division they drop into. -

Unfortunately the EFL have sold their soul for Sky TV cash, in order to keep their heads above the water in the financial chaos of football. If the clubs stopped paying out the ridiculous levels of wages to players then this would not be necessary. 😞 Who do we complain about Sky TV for working to the contract the EFL have signed, or the clubs and the EFL for signing it? I'd suggest halving the EFL wage bill in every division would be a good start?
