  1. They always play out of their skins against us and I don't doubt they'll do so again tonight. We may not see it as a rivalry, but they most certainly do. A hard-fought win by the odd goal and I'll be quite happy enough.
  2. Nooooooooooooooo!!! Ah, well you get bragging rights all the same. Don't think I've landed a round-by-round bet in my life 😂
  3. Bit harsh! He's only telling you what he's heard!
  4. And still it goes on. Great to see Cameron sabre-rattling too. What a time to be alive, eh!
  5. God no, if it's anything like in footy anyway! It's kind of part and parcel anyway, I was just surprised to see Fury resort to that against a guy who'd never had a pro-fight in his life. Embarrassing more than anything, really.
  6. Don't spend it all at once mate 😂
  7. I haven't looked yet as I didn't want to jinx the fight with Smith, but you'd think Bivol will be comfortably favourite. Before last night I'd have been leaning the same way, but that might have been because I thought Beterbiev looked a little off it early on against Yarde, whom I thought he'd walk simply through. I thought he looked better last night, despite a fair layoff and now I'm scratching my head as I'm not even sure Bivol can stand 12 rounds of what Beterbiev dishes out. Biggest fight of the year for me, an absolute firecracker. EDIT: 10/11 the pair just checked
  8. Yeah, you seem really good at calling fights after they've been fought. Give yourself a gold star tinsel tits! Jeez, triggered or what! 😂
  9. Well we'll see next time it gets tickled won't we. Don't get me wrong, he's favourite to qin but if you actually read my post. I've said for me AJ is vulnerable to a puncher and Ngannou is no 13/2 shot. I stand by both comments. I don't remember you saying as much as the time. Someone did though. The Bivol comparison, which I think I've made quite clear in my original post, is that the Canelo's camp did not fully appreciate what they were taking on. Very few did, despite your claims, as the Mexican went off a 1/4 favourite. I've simply suggested I think the same error is being made with Ngannou and at at the prices, I'm happy to take that chance and I'm not sure what all your years of watching boxing have to do with anything either.
  10. Moloney vs Sanchez fight an absolute full-on banger. Different fighters, but such a good match up and both lads game as you like. They've punched themselves to a standstill there 😂
  11. Went for the same mate, if only because Beterbiev vs Bivol would be a classic. Just watched Imam Khataev on the undercard. Looks a proper nasty puncher, a lot in the Beterbiev mould and now one his first half dozen, all by KO. One to keep an eye on, I reckon. Fair to say tonight's opponent very limited (also a late call up I think), so far stiffer tests await, but I'd fancy this lad's a good few levels off his ceiling yet. Have a look at him when you get a chance. Scary ******
  12. Charlton are just trying it on and whilst it's annoying, we can't really blame them. They're spending plenty, so it's logical to assume they'll look to recoup as best they can on any outgoing players. That said, I think he'd probably a £600-700K player if he had 2 years left on his deal anyway, so I think it's a fairly low-risk deal for us and he does look the type of player who would add something to the squad, so it's a deal I like personally. As it is, there'll be a figure that's palatable to both clubs, I'm sure, it's just a shame we need to be wasting time haggling before arriving at it. Reading between the lines, the player is happy with the terms on offer, so his aims seem pretty clear and players do usually end up getting their own way in these instances.
  13. I think you're being unfair to the lad. Didn't he get 4 in a row right and in the right order too or did I just imagine that? Pretty sure that's when I realised he must have someone who is passing on news and that's all he's ever claimed. It's not like he's giving it the big 'un and shouting from the rooftops, is it? Also, the last day debacle you hang him on was, I thought, also linked to the Cashin business which as we now know, fell apart late in the day and had knock-on effects for other deals, ie. we didn't have £3M sloshing about anymore. It seems rather unfair to ignore the signings he got right and just focus on that one chaotic day, whatever the validity of that day's info. FWIW, I think most of us like all the mystery, gossip, guesswork and chatter that comes around with every window, or at least I do!
  14. Spelling mistakes. They actually meant Posh and Bolton. Easily done.
  15. Charlton: Maynard-Brewer; Jones, Ness, Thomas; T.Watson, Dobson (c), Bakinson, Edun; T.Campbell, May, C.Campbell Subs: Isted, Asiimwe, L.Watson, Anderson, Coventry, Fiorini, Kanu
  16. Play as a team, lose as a team. All 5.0 from me. They didn't make any effort so I can't be arsed either 😂
  17. Lot of folk loving them apples Stive 😉
