  1. Blimey, didn't ask for your life history mate 🤣
  2. Here's some fun facts mate, try and guess which one is not actually true... 1) They produce shedloads of hash but you need to smoke half a pound of it as it's weak as pish. 2) All buildings in Marrakech must be red. The city is built on red clay and all original buildings were made out of it. Not hard to see how the city earnt the moniker ‘the Red City’ 3) If you use your left hand to handle food, they'll slap you 4) The most popular drink in Morocco is green tea with mint and sugar and it's fookin foul 5) The have a city named Ass 6) Some Morrocans drink camel pee
  3. The72 crew are clueless mate. Word to the wise, don't take anything they say seriously. That's pure doom-scroll clickbait. How many forums are you on btw? After spotting you on the Wycombe board, a quick google reveals quite a lot, though given recent history, Wycombe is definitely the weirdest.
  4. Because it was a theorem first posited by a really intelligent French mackerel.
  5. Chin up lad. It's hard at certain times of the year. My mum went very early and despite that, I still dread October. All I can offer by way of encouragement is to think about what your dad would want for you. He'd not want his memory being something that weighs you down, I'm sure, at least that's what I tell myself when I get morose. As for the work thing, that's the nature of contracting, I'm afraid and most I know have seen things slow down recently. Contractors do earn a pretty penny when in gainful employment and there are lots of benefits to not being tied into one entity, so my advice would be squirrel as much away as you can while you're contracted, to carry you through the periods when you're not. Also, don't be afraid to spread your wings and look outside the UK. Most other countries are not being crushed by high interest rates and you might well find gainful (and very well paid) employment elsewhere and you're young enough to take a risk or two, though not knowing what it is you do, I'm not sure whether this is relevant.
  6. I'd hoped the announcement was that with us teetering on the edge of promotion, some monied up investor had stepped up to help DC fund a campaign in the Championship, should we get there, but apparently the announcement is that you can't play cricket in the rain. Oh, they're at Moor Farm on Monday too 🤷‍♀️
  7. A Poisson distribution is a discrete probability distribution. It gives the probability of an event happening a certain number of times (k) within a given interval of time or space. The Poisson distribution has only one parameter, λ (lambda), which is the mean number of events. No need to thank me 🤪
  8. Look at the respective profile pics and all will be revealed 🫢
  9. That's excellent news, but if their Jambalaya was served with a floater, would they actually notice? In fairness, one of them got it... This chap seems most offended, though looking at him, I'm a bit worried that if he doesn't calm down he might give himself an aneurysm. He commented: You also have the disadvantage of having neanderthal knuckle-draggers as supporters, such as this poster on the DCFC forum. 🤣 Well Bargepole, my old mucker, since you took time to visit our forum, firstly, can I wholeheartedly welcome you and thank you unreservedly for your kind words. I would like to point out though that the post was satirical, but I fear the notion would be lost on you. Did you come snooping imagining we'd be singing your praises? Really? Also, I'm a tad affronted by the knuckle dragging thing, but I put that down to you having a couple of things dragging along the floor yourself, though likely not your knuckles. Much love, 86 x
  10. Our best balanced side of the current ilk, that is one that sets up with a back 4 would contain the likes of Nyambe, Fozzy and Gayle upfront IMO, so I beg to differ. If you could point out my last post relating to your negativity, I'd be obliged, as in all honesty, I'm not aware of interacting with you much at all this season, a scenario that's probably served both of us quite well.
  11. xG indicates trends not outcomes IMO and some of what he says is actually at least partially correct. The problem with matey boy is he says one thing one week, then the opposite the nest and thinks nobody notices. 100% not a Ram in any case IMO and even if he were, he'd be one that trolls his fellow supporters, so either way, he's just another for the 'ignore' list.
  12. I don't really get the criticism of Joe, though in fairness, I think most Rams supporters rate him highly. You take away some of the worldies he's pulled off this season and there's no way we sit 2nd. Hopefully he's just wanting to see whether we go up as I'd re-sign him in a heartbeat. If he chooses to go elsewhere, so be it, but I don't see he owes us anything to be honest. It's sometimes hard to take when players move on, but this is their job not necessarily their passion and one club careers are as rare rocking horse poo anyway.
  13. Bought it yesterday by weird coincidence. I've always thought he talks a lot of sense without being overtly political, which is a tricky enough balance these days. On a general note, for anyone doing audiobooks (this is my first foray), Audible have two offers running currently - please see below. Not sure how much I'll like the audio thing, but I had to stop using a kindle as I'm an insomniac and it really wasn't helping!
  14. Best call out ever, by a million miles. The coffee cup 🤣
  15. Where from? The only source I've seen saying that is our very own @Millenniumram who claimed that not only was he out for the season, but that he'd played his last game for the club. I own underpants more ITK than him though.
  16. I'd stick with the first part of your plan, but forego the ketchup in favour of some Monsieur Creosote style power-vomming.
  17. Indeed, in fact I heard that Warne bought a lottery ball dispensing machine and simply fed in the squad numbers of those who remain able to play and hey presto, he 'stumbled onto a formation that surprisingly works quite well', as you put it. Such a lucky manager! That said, we seemed to be playing rather well prior to the injuries too, so perhaps he's not really stumbled on anything.
  18. I'll always quote someone if I'm responding to anything they've said, or tag them at least. My point was really that while any lasting peace seems a million miles off now, that doesn't preclude a ceasefire, which as you've said in your response, is something nearly everyone wants to see, especially now that the aid convoys have been halted. There's over a million already suffering the effects of famine and that number will now increase rapidly and with devastating effect, while the West sits by and does nothing but posture, or in the US's case, restocks Israel's armoury. Yet while good folk march and protest against leaders who do not represent their views and wishes, some seem more fixated with the nature of the protests than the potential starvation of hundreds of thousands of children, not to mention their parents. Are we to suppose that Palestinian kids might be part of the bedrock that supports Hamas. Not for me. Not now, not ever.
