  1. It's not exactly 60% as it's 60% of some income and 100% of others. Derby will be around the 60% mark though.
  2. I mentioned it in another thread, but McIntyre is exactly the type of player we should avoid. Since being in the Reading first team, he's been out for an everage of 4 months every season, including 3 motnhs out already this season.
  3. That forward Burton signed has only scored 1 goal more than Brown at U21 level this season and that's in a side which scored 10 past Sunderland as well as 5 against both Sunderland and Blackburn. We're looking for a better forward than who Burton target.
  4. Out of contract in the summer but he would still be a risky signing. He was playing in the Welsh leagues up until last season. He only scored 2 L2 goals last season, but has hit form this season, scoring more this year than he ever has done in the Welsh Leagues
  5. It's based on how long they were at our club and at what ages. Ebiowei was only here for 1 season, so that would be 0.5%. Plange, only 6 months on a permenenat then laon for the next 6 motnhs - I think he'd still be 0.5%. Festy joined us at 16, so we would get 2% and Bray Wanderers another 2% Gordon and Delap left at the end of their U16 seasons, so we would only get 2% for each of them, unless we still have sell-on clasues for them (didn't Quantuma cash in on them?)
  6. Only added depth. Mason-Clarke and Poku will still be their starters. Olakigbe will be a bench option alongside their only other winger (Ajiboye). We've strengthened our winger options more than them.
  7. Bradley, Nyambe and Forsyth can all cover CB (dependant on formation). It could even be an opportuntity for Bardell/Bartley to step up, or DRobinson to fill in if there was an injury crisis. Even if Collins picked up 2 yellows in the next 2 games, the third game is Feb 13th, around the time we expect to see Waghorn and Washington return. In the unlikely scenario of us not signing a forward, Mendez-Laing would be the player used at CF for a game or two.
  8. We concluded that was the case but it wasn't official. All we know is there are two pots of money and we used the loan pot to sign Blackett-Taylor. The permanent pot may be empty, or it may have been saved for a different signing.
  9. You are correct. I believe we will be due 3% - we receive £300k if he's sold for £10m
  10. His debut was against Peterborough. He came on in injury time and we ended up conceding, losing 3-2 (we went 2-0 up in the first half). His first start was also against Peterborough on the last day of the season. He was played at LM in that game. Out of contract in the summer...
  11. The first reason Warne gave was "ego"/attitude. Over time he decided to give different reasons - ranging from age, ability, squad size
  12. If Warne's perception of Waghorn's attitude didn't pass his character test, then Ince definitely won't.
  13. Based on Transfermarkt, his most favoured formation during his managerial career is 433 (or variations of it), with 442 2nd. 433 - 103 times 442 - 80 343 - 76 4231 - 59 352 - 44 3412 - 13
  14. Some of the budget would have been used on John-Jules and Nyambe. We also used a significant amount on Blackett-Taylor and we know there's enough left over for at least 1 other signing.
  15. Negotiations ahve been going on for months. From what I remember seeing, he essentially wants to see a path into the first team (hence why he started getting minutes at the end of a few league games). It's possible he'll only a new deal if he's now allowed out on loan to play regularly, but West Ham want to keep him around just incase of an injury.
  16. He was on trial, then played and scored in a game just 1 week before we went in to admin which would have stopped us signing any players (even for the U23/21 side). It took him 2 months to then find a new club (Wycombe). https://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/2021/09/under-23s-settle-for-a-draw-in-premier-league-cup-thriller-at-norwich
  17. Gill is a 1st year scholar and hasn't played for the U21s yet. I expect he'll start to get a bit of U21 action next season, with Moloney 1st choice and Gough being an option at LB and LW. It's why I also expect Jeffcott to go back to Arsenal at the end of his loan. Bartley is 20, whilst KRobinson is 18 (2nd year scholar). There's also Cox, who has turned 18 today, but he has been out since November.
  18. Wildsmith Nyambe Nelson Cashin Sibley DRobinson Bird Thompson Mendez-Laing Blackett-Taylor Collins Subs; Vickers, Bradley, Ward, Hourihane, Wilson, Barkhuizen, New
  19. Must have been part of the swap deal which resulted in Cashik being in the TotW for them last week
  20. McIntyre is out of contractvin the summer and made of glass - he averages about 4 months a season out injured and was already injured for 3 months this season. Whislt Knibbs and Smith would strengthen us, they're contracted for a couple more seasons.
  21. But we will have a bigger budget than at least 20 other teams in this division this season (I think we're top 2). Why do we need to take a bigger risk than them?
  22. Clowes Developments (the owner of Derby County) recently released their accounts and disclosed some information regarding the club. The headline figure was a £6.8m loss over 9 months (July 1st 2022 to March 31st 2023).
  23. I think losses will be double that. Wages roughly 60% of turnover
  24. Another unfortunate defeat. They deserved a point from that game
