Wow, what a win. And Johnnie Walker’s going down a treat. Hmm, that doesn’t right either
Steady......
Mind you, Sonny Cox did get a shot off near the end....😉

Ex rams doing well - Luke Thomas assist and a goal, Chrissy Martin ditto.
We've arrived as Bristol rovers feeder club.
It's a business masterstroke....

Adam’s reminds me of the Thorne January signing all those years ago. Vital signing of the window
What's often forgotten is that George Thorne didn't actually make his debut until early March in a certain 5-0 home victory......
He absolutely took it by storm once he got going didn't he?

Derby’s game plan of score more than the opposition is working a treat.
Other than that, I can’t see any pattern in our play whatsoever other than get it wide and swing a hopeful ball in.
If we didn’t have better players than the opposition, we’d be much further down the table.
We’re winning because of Bird’s moment of Championship level quality.
It works as long as the opposition score nil.....

Something happened early in the first half, it was in the bottom right corner of the screen so wasn’t the focus of the camera but Adams was squaring up to one of their players, he seemed livid and Bird (I think) stepped in to calm him down. Wonder if something unpleasant was said to him, pure speculation on my part, but he was riled and they’ve been getting at him ever since.
Well hopefully Warne spotted that and can give him some support and calming words. After all, we're told he doesn't do the coaching so he can safely leave the tactics to the others.....

The same gaffer who bird specifically states has been taking him aside to improve his shooting?
Clearly crap coaching as it hasn't worked has it...👀
Probably had him running 10 laps around the pitch. That'll work!

Just reminded me a bit of the guy souness bought for Southampton who had only been seen on video…
Was a fraud. Ali Dia was his name and a bloke claiming that he was George Weah and that this guy was his cousin phoned souness at Southampton.
Had us all in stitches down here as the local media reported it all with a straight face......

You can see the frustration and scope for improvement. We do 2 or 3 nice passes in a midfield triangle, run out of ideas, panic, play back to wildsmith who boots it straight through to the other keeper.

No way pep would want Maguire.
He favours mobile, ball- playing centre halves.
