  1. Carlisle sold out as well which is excellent more than a month before the game.
  2. Looks to be a decent gate again. Just 771 home tickets left. Conversely, still 3042 available for the Orient game.
  3. My favourite Rams shirt ever... and it still fits

  5. Only one slight issue with that, Dave... Smith at RB would almost certainly mean Hourihane starting...
  6. Unconfirmed report I read elsewhere which is why I used the word "apparently" in my post
  7. Not seen anything to explain why he's not been around the team. I might have missed it. That's why I wrote "whatever happened to...." as I don't know if he's injured or simply out of favour.
  8. Did I say that? Merely pointing out that the current injury situation plus "whatever happened to Fornah" means the skipper is nailed on to start.
  9. With Bird not ready, Adams apparently injured, whatever happened to Fornah, Hourihane looks nailed on to start.
  10. The good thing about this is there seems no way we can play a back 3 against Blackpool, Pompey or Wycombe. The only problem is, who plays right back? Ward? Wilson? Smith? How close is Rooney to a return? Tother side, do we start Elder or Sibs?
  11. @Mucker1884 is going on the premise that the Jorrocks' local clientele were strangers to me back in 2010. He's wrong. He is correct in saying we have met and I'd be more than happy to repeat the experience as he's a good un.
  12. 30/1/2010. We hadn't won for something like 8 games. The Dogs hadn't lost in over 20 games. I was over with a PSV supporting teammate of mine over here. We were in the SW lower. 78th minute we got a free kick in the NE corner. I told my mate, Commons FK, Hulse header at the near post. Goal. I got that one right. Later that day, in Jorrocks, folk heard us talking Dutch. Found out I was expat and my mate Dutch. They thought it brilliant we'd come over for the game. Next 4 or 5 pints were donated by complete strangers. Great day out.
  13. The Kenco Cup game. I was over for that one too. Another great day out.
  14. As others have said, the original piece was in the "I wouldn't use that rag to wipe me 'arris" and has since been cut & paste by a myriad of clickbait non-news sites. I'll believe it when I read it on dcfc.co.uk and not before.
  15. Me, my 2 lads together in the East Stand, towards the front, just south of the penalty area at the north end. A family was sat behind us, husband, wife and 2 kids. We'd been chatting pre match in the concourse. At 3-0, 'er indoors was still not sure we'd win as those "Red Dogs" will come back at us. She became a little less nervous at 4-0. When the 5th went in she could finally relax, knowing we were out of sight.
  16. Hopefully automatic promotion in a lasting tribute to B4
  17. Waggy up top. Wash on the bench. NML and Blackett Taylor in the wide positions. Still have Sibs we can move forward on the left and Wilson on the right bringing Elder/Ward on if NML or CBT has to go off.
  18. My money is on Waggy as Wash has no game time in his legs yet. Collo was interviewed pre Bolton in the Toyota Lounge and said he expected to be involved Easter weekend.
  19. 5 wins puts us on 93. Posh, Bolton and Barnsley can all reach 95 if they win all their remaining games. Posh and Bolton play each other so they can't both win all games. Win 6 and nobody can reach us. All ifs and buts. Basically, we get as many points as the chasing pack in the remaining games and we are home and dry. Que sera, sera. One game at a time. COYR.
  20. Post match PW said Barks has a calf injury and will be out for a couple of weeks. Ward felt his calf and was brought off as a precautionary measure. Gayle out for several weeks. Wash in the squad to replace Gayle with Waggy starting. In a pre match interview in the Toyota lounge Collo said he was back training. Not ready for Northampton but should be the week after.
  21. As an expat, I occasionally visit Ajax. I no longer visit my local club, where I both played and, later, coached, as they moved from playing on a Sunday to the Saturday and their times coincide with Derby. Used to be that we had the younger juniors play on Saturday and the seniors on Sunday. We lost many a talented young players when they reached 13 as they were from "Nederlands Gereformeerd Kerken" families and for them the Sunday is sacrosanct. They're not allowed to play. 5km down the road was a Saturday club so they moved there. Also social attitudes have changed and the U18s started moving down the road as well to play Saturdays so their play wasn't affected by their Saturday nights out. The club moved to 100% Saturday and the exodus has stopped.
