  1. Wow @angieram, that has PINK on it, we really can't have any Pink surely, I can see the storm brewing up above already! #bemoreB4
  2. Transfer window isn't open to be able to announce signings of contracted players, so you will have a bit of a wait
  3. That was before administration, I used to go in on occasion for a meal.in a week night as convenient for after work being on PP
  4. Anyway, The atmosphere at Pride Park with 30k in will never be as good as the Baseball ground with 15k, no matter how much co-ordination is done through social media and all the waving of flanges and scraves, surfing the big flags before the game, our own song and poem, it will never beat the Popside/Columbo raw chanting from 30 years+ ago (before all seater stadium...)
  5. This very thread proves that some posters just can't help themselves with negative reactions..... Controversial views UNCHALLENGED Yet by the very nature of using the Angry emoji reaction is in itself challenging.... You know who you are!
  6. Only opens on match days
  7. This Back in the 80's was brilliant away from home, with a special mention for the League Cup 1 all draw away at Leicester in 85 after we best them 2 nil at home in the 1st leg to knock them out. They were top flight, us 3rd division, it was also the night of the riots in Leicester City center as the police were all at Filbert Street..... Felt like we kept it up for a whole half of the game, every time it wavered and the Leicester (baby squad were they called?) in the terrace next to us started to sing we built the noise back up to drown them out. One of the best nights I can remember from my 1st full season going.
  8. Need to remember you have 9 subs, not 7 in the Championship, so there should still be room in a 20 man matchday squad for the younger players, whilst keeping the good characters that will be able to so a job when required. Also, can everyone mentioning Hourihane just stop, he said ages ago he was hanging his boots up for a coaching role at Villa, and even if he wasn't, he's become very much a bit part player in the last 10 games!
  9. Just said goodnight to my 16 Yr old not interested in football son, said I'd see him Sunday (after celebrating in Derby for a while - police restrictions permitting)...... there's ready meals in the fridge so nothing to worry about! Simples!
  10. Is he any less fit than Curtis was in that crucial last game against Sheff Wednesday? Personally I doubt he'll be on the bench, be surprised if TJJ was either despitecomments on the training pitch we have a strong bench as it is, if we start the same as last week then Barks, Bird, Hourihane, Waghorn, CBT & Washington there's no room for either a semi fit Gayle or TJJ, although if fit I'd have both to replace Wash and Wag
  11. Watching Cheltenham against them tonight, they could have had 4 or 5 which would have 'smashed' them, so no reason to think a team 18 places up the table wouldn't be able to if they went with a weakened team again
  12. I think it's fair to say Peterborough won't be putting up much of a fight on Saturday based on tonights performance so far..... 2 down already
  13. If it is selected for Sky then loads of pubs will be showing it, so you can get down early and be part of the prematch build up with everyone else then enjoy the game with a pint in your hand..... no missing 10 minutes either side of half time to get in the queues in the concourse!
  14. I see they rested Brown last night in their 1 nil defeat at home to Aldershot, glad he's not being overworked with them playing 4 games in 8 days! On a side note, a certain Kwame Thomas scored the only goal, rang a bell, ex academy player, didn't realise from how long ago though as he is 28 now though!
