DcFc Dyycheee
Silly suggestion time, but why not throw Theo , Fielding or Ball as part of the deal if we are so keen to get the bloke? I was thinking that, worked with Keogh.
North_Stand_Ram
Doubt a small Scottish club could afford the first two's wages. Ball maybe, but i reckon they'd want someone more proven
Stedcfc
The only thing exciting about him was the amount we spent! I genuinely thought he'd be good..... But no
North_Stand_Ram
Rob Ford @RobFord_45m @reluctantnicko concrete #dcfc bid for Russell? Derby journalists saying only "discussions" have taken place? Can you confirm? Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko Protected account45m @RobFord_ Offer been made. 750k plus extras. Rob Ford @RobFord_43m @reluctantnicko How substantial are these extras? Any chance of it being accepted/rejected imminently? Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko Protected account42m @RobFord_ Decent. Achievable. Up to Dundee U. But after two weeks of an auction looks like they won't get much more. Rob Ford @RobFord_40m @reluctantnicko Are Celtic likely to get involved if Gary Hooper doesn't depart? Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko Protected account39m @RobFord_ Once a fee is agreed then that is always a danger. But Celtic not known for spending money when they don't have to. Rob Ford @RobFord_38m @reluctantnicko Would seem a little pointless if Hooper stays. I think Derby probably a better move for Russell, What do you think? Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko Protected account38m @RobFord_ Either move would work.

RamNut
Football is a team game. Our team with Sammon scored 65 goals. Palace with Murray scored 73 goals & Blackburn with Rhodes scored 56 goals. If an addition such as Russell or Vaughan can give the team another few goals on top and a new keeper and central defender can keep a few out.................. Job done. Far too much emphasis on a prolific "Centre Forward" in my view. Van persie
ryanjohno94
Apparently we are still negotiating but if it's true his agent was in derby on Friday that could be a good indication he's interested but I'm still concerned .
