Animal is a Ram
I think maybe that Rush "putting his money where his mouth is" is being taken too literally.. or is it just me..
Albert
Conveniently missing out Clayton Donaldson and Ricardo Vaz Te.Ricardo Vaz Te: 10 apps, 1 goal for Hibernian in 2010-11. Below the needed number of gamesClayton Donaldson: 18 apps, 5 goals for Hibernian in 2007-08, too few appearances and more importantly outside the time boundaries of the investigation. The Scarlet Pimpernel
The longer we hear nothing at the moment might just mean we are still in this. If we are blown out we would have heard by now via Steve Nicholson or someone.
Animal is a Ram
Don't forget it's still only May. This may drag out for some time yet, and like others I think Russell/his agent may well be waiting for Celtic - who are in turn waiting on Hooper. Nigel is VERY keen on those coming in wanting to come in. Not us being second fiddle!
Scott129
Thing is though, Russell has explicitly said he wants to go abroad i.e. away from Scotland. I don't see why they'd be waiting on Celtic if that were the case.

I suppose guaranteed trophies, European games and higher wages may change his mind - but sod that Johnny, you can take us to the promised land! I have to agree with this. Nigel likes it done early doors and doesn't tend to wait for people to see if they fancy going to another team instead of us. Uptherams
Playing against 11 opposing sides or 23. If he has a love of football he will leave Scotland. I wouldn't even expect Celtic to bid more than £500,000. Dundee are in no position to make demands.
DCFCfranco
If we get him for 750k it'll be a bargain. I've just signed him for 4 mil on FIFA!

If Russell is playing waiting games Nigel would have said "I'm out" by now and we would know it through the media. Just wondering if the silence means we are talking to him still (wage negotiations). On the other hand what do I know

North_Stand_Ram
Definitely, and you can't blame him for that. I cannot indeed. Just wish we could offer him what he wants. I've missed having a good striker at the club. Haven't had one since Howard. Hopefully we can bring one in this summer!
woodruffs
Would be great to have a real hero at centre forward - the next Dean Saunders or Bobby Davison would be nice, or even the next Steve Howard
