Yep, tis true, I have. In fact if you click on YR's profile page, I should be on it cos I'm nosey.

Last time I looked, there were about 5 blog articles.

If you look at the side there are 3 grey bars one of which is an archive or you can keep going down to the bottom where they begin I know they aren't masterpieces, I just write about stuff that gets me passionate in the morning before I revise or go to college. They are all first drafts. Thanks LR don't be afraid to make a negative comment though, critcism is needed and welcome. If you ever want to comment on the blog just go on the comment button. I recognise that a lot of my stuff isn't great, but I think I will improve and become more refined as I have more time to commit to the work I am writing and as I get used to writing like this.

I've left a comment YR - it's not a critisism of your writing style though - it's regarding the so called honour killings, have a read, see what you think.

Your style will improve with time YR, I wouldn't worry about it at this point. I would say though that with academic writing anyway, make sure to include both sides of the argument. You probably won't agree with some of the stuff your writing down but it will make your writing flow more if you include arguments for and against.

Then you can put your own conclusion at the end and leave others to make theirs. They might challenge yours, they might not but it'll provoke their thoughts. 'http://www.dcfcfans.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

At uni, they'll look for things like this.

Just want to echo LR's comments - academically they will look for both sides being argued with a reasoned conclusion. Also this us the hard bit they expect the argument to be formed using references to support your opinion, and the counter opinion, with no use of first person "I think, my opinion etc..." until the final conclusion or summary where you can do it a little bit.

If your doing a Uni course requiring review of literature it's a skill you will develop and it will help in your blog too.

Right time for me to publicise myself a little bit. 4 weeks from gaining Qualified Teacher Status in Secondary Mathematics.

Anybody know of anybody looking for a tutor over the summer in the Derby/Nottingham area PM me please. (it can be adults or kids that need tutoring)

I can't see a comment on my blog? oh well you can send me a private message about it or try again. 'http://www.dcfcfans.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> Yes I have been told this before 'http://www.dcfcfans.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' /> I tend to be one sided with what I write and I will address that. Thanks for your comments and well I hope you enjoy reading it if you continue to do so.
