uttoxram75
Chester (at Mickleover Sports) and FCUnited (at Matlock Town) both had similar numbers of away fans as Middlesbrough today. Considering Boro have a great chance of making the play offs (and have been up there all season), its maybe a sobering fact that football fans are turning to the grass roots and are fed up with the Sky/big money greed that is ruining our national sport. Just a thought!
PrivateDerby
Or possibly have banning orders from Premier and Championship clubs 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
EastKentRam
Both Chester and FC United are big clubs at there level, plus they're both doing well. How many did Boro bring? They've normally got quite good away support.
RamOfKansas
People in America always complain about the greed corrupting collegiate athletics here, claim they will start following lower levels of collegiate athletics rather than the big boys. They never actually do that. This is just an average matter of fans supporting their smaller team. However some smarter people see problems, the masses will never go to watching grassroots smaller clubs. Everything is funneling towards ignorance of lower levels of play in favor of only following the big boys.
Leicester Ram
They were pretty loud. Their stadium only tends to get 18/19K but alot of it is die-hards. I was talking to my uncle's boro mate who was saying that what they lack in numbers they gain in passion. which pretty accurately described the away support today. Mr Tibbs
Decent numbers for that level. 1300 odd Boro fans at PP.

Mr Tibbs
Both not that far from each other, saying that we aren't far from Leicester, Cov etc but struggle to take over 1000. Fair plat to 'um!
Boycie
FC United lost to Matlock I think.

RotherhamRam
May be its the cost of the tickets. Some football fans like to watch a game with their mates have a drink after the game etc. Lets be honest can't see the likes of Matlock charging 25-30 quid a game. CumbrianRam
How many did Boro bring? They've normally got quite good away support. Just over 1,300, we took just over 900 to Boro.
Mr Tibbs
Just over 1,300, we took just over 900 to Boro. And we still sing "Is that all you take away!"
