'too drunk to consent'... my advise would be don't get yourself into that state, basically what has happened is that she got drunk, had sex with footballers and seen pound signs floating around her head that morning, I hope the book is chucked at her and told not to be such a slag and get on with the decisions she makes in life. She is clearly not a rape victim... they haven't forced her into that room, all she has said is that she was drunk and she had sex. Turning it around, I can't imagine how sickening it must feel to go out for a night out, go back with the girl and the next day have the police raid my house and arrest me, there is a very very large line between drunk sex and rape, a very large line. You're right enough there, I don't know exactly what happened and while I think it's downright wrong for women to play the rape card when no such thing happened, I also think it's fair to say that both sides need investigating to establish exactly what went off. It's also worth bearing in mind that police are unwilling to take some cases of rape to court unless they are sure they can get a conviction, then it's up to the judge & jury to decide. Exactly my point, rape for me is when someone is forced against their will in this case I don't even thinking they are claiming they dragged her, and forced her... it just says 'too drunk to consent' which is absolute ******** IMO. Some of the suggestions on here are ridiculous, Jay Rodriguez is one of the most highly rated forwards outside the Premier League, why the f*ck would he join an unambitious mid table Championship side with no money? Ched Evans as well, Shef Utd almost guaranteed to be playing Championship football next season so it wont be a step up in league for him. Shef Utd i expect will be paying more/just as much as we could and will probably show more ambition than us next season. Lets get realistic, any proven Championship player below the age of 30 is unlikely to join us, it's highly likely our signings will consist of lower league players and Scottish players. What we need, is midfielders. All of our current midfielders are replaceable as none of them are anything more than an average Championship player. I'd probably play Ward, one of Bryson or Hendrick and then get in two new players for next season. To progress we need a much better midfield. I went to that casino opposite The Friary a few weeks back in Derby and was disgusted by the state of women in the street when I emerged about 1.30am, I won't go into it... How is she 'clearly' not a rape victim? You don't know the ins and outs of the story at all. Only the 2 footballers and possibly the girl know what happened. I heard something on SSN that its a possibility her drinks were drugged. Who are we to judge if this is a lie? we don't know her. She may have been through one of the most traumatic experiences a girl can go through and you are throwing accusations around without having a clue. I'm not saying she was raped. She may be doing it for money. On the other hand she may have been raped. Its not for me to judge whether she was or not as i don't know her and i wasn't a witness. its completely ridiculous that you are stating your opinion as fact, when even your opinion has been based upon a lack of knowledge on the situation. Like I said we dont know the exact facts but from what was initially stated its utter rubbish and shes just a gold digger! Its instances of gold digger and money grabbing that have made so many people cast doubt on situations like this and make actual victims feel it pointless to come forward.. I think they said on SSN that Port Vale lad was getting a cab to the hotel, picked this bird up off the street and took her to the hotel.
