Ramarena
So if Shaks goes who will captain the side next season? I can't see anyone in the current squad who stands out. Looks like the new signing will probably have to be captain material as well.

The Key Club King
Has anybody thought about the fact that Shackell has two years left on his contract and is pretty unlikely to renew as he has proven his quality. He will be worth much less next year.

Hoggy
Guess the Barnsley fans were right after all. Still would have expected more than 1.1 million. Right about what? When did he ask to leave Derby? Was a rock at the back for us last season also helping to bring though OB and later on Buxton(who will miss Shackell) Who's been going on and on and on about ruthlessly selling a player who gave his all for the club? Nigel Clough, he is most to blame for the low price, lets not feel sorry for Shackell he will get a loyalty fee and move to a club which has money to spend after selling Rodriguez.
