There's an old Derbyshire saying....."as long as the falcon watches over Derventio, the rams will rule the forest". 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' cla

I've not seen this before Frogggy, so ta for posting. They're lovely aren't they?

Changing the subject just a little - I was listening to RD this morning and wildlife groups aren't pleased about the proposal to build a new outdoor cycling track adjascent to the Velodrome, which will be built next to the stadium at PP. The council haven't included this track in it's plans and it means that the wildlife sancturay (which is home to some rare birds) will be wiped.

RD wanted to have an interview with the council but they declined.

Is an outdoor one needed if the velodrome will have one? Leave them birds alone, they need somewhere to live - not everything has to be built on.

Ditto.

I don't peep, I take the net curtain down and openly perv on them in the hope that if they like what they see they can nip in for a coffee

There is either a smallish bird of prey that regularly kills pigeons in my back garden, its so quick I can never see enough detail, or the evidence is a pile of feathers.
