Lets not get into the "depends who we they are replaced with or how much money we would get" debate. Just players that you think are right for the club and you are generally happy with at our level. I'll be annoyed if (when!) Addison goes, because he showed all the signs of being a tremendous asset before the injury (and before Clough started messing him about), but I can't ever see him being decent for us while Nige is in charge so he may as well move on..... Brayford has been as poor this season as he was good last season. But he's still good to keep unless price is right Keepers aren't essential IMO. The rest are passengers. RotherhamRam Posted March 2, 2012 Share Posted March 2, 2012 For me it has to be Fielding, Barker, Shackell, Brayford, Ward, Hendrick, Bryson, Bailey, Bennett, Hughes, O'brian, Ball, Green These are definates that I would not want to leave as they are young (5 are still in or just finished with the academy and have many years with Derby to come) the others will have minimum 5yrs with Derby if we keep them. All can continue to improve. p.shilton Posted March 3, 2012 Author Share Posted March 3, 2012 Fielding - 4million 1 mil- decent enough, good prospect Brayford - 2.5million 800k- steady, showing injury proneness after a great start Barker - 2.5million 1.2- sought after Championship defender (this it what they are worth) Shackell - 2million 1.2- as above Bryson - 1million 600k- adapting to the game but hardly setting it alight Sdavies - 1million 500k always injured and contract up if we don't take the option Tyson - 800k 300k- paid nothing for him and he has done nothing since Ward - 2million 800k- has flashes but nothing to warrant big money Maguire - 800k300k- has hardly played, questions over attitude and ability Legzdins - 800k 350k- reserve goalie, not done anything to warrant to spending more than paid apart from a few appearances Bailey - 1.5million700k- has been "ok" but rubbish and thn injured Bdavies - 800k FREE- Has not proved himself at this level Robinson - 800k 500k- has something but lack f composure and awareness lets him down massively Hendrick - 2million 800k- plays fairly well in a poor midfield, would be a gamble O'Brien - 2million 400K- played fairly well but injured now an had a heart problem in the past Ball - 800k 300k- Shows promise but not anywhere neart being a championship CF yet, a gamble Bennett - 7million HAHAHAHAHA, really? 700k and thats only because he played for England. Hughes - 5million ??? I should think that is a little OTT to say the least. No nothing of the guy but you could buy most of our starting 11 for that Naylor - 1million (complete guess)??
