-JW-
Well its that time of the year again when every comic in britain is releasing a DVD, but which one will you be buying. For me Peter Kay and Lee Evans are head and shoulders above the rest. What do you think?
David
I like John Bishop at the moment, watched his latest tour DVD the other week but wasn't that impressed if I'm honest, his first DVD was far better. Frankie Boyle is still my main love, bought the missus his new book for Xmas, not decided if I'll let her read it first yet.
MrsRam
Frankie Boyle - Is a boyle on the arse hole of comedy.......sorry, i just don't like him. For ~Christmas, I have had to buy two dvd's of sleb juice, one for my bother in law ( 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> ), one for the girls, then MrRam is having a MrsBrown and boys, or whatever it is. We've got the Peter Kay and Lee Evans DVD (did I ever metnion the fact I saw Lee Evans at the Assembly Rooms, he was on before Jack Dee about 19 years ago) AND - MrRam came and met me at the Assembly Rooms Car Park, to say hello (early days), he'd just been to the match. MrsRam
Even Jezza Clarkson has to apologise for less than Boyle, why he has the support he does, is a mystery.
David
Because he does what most comedians these days don't do....make people laugh. Lee Evans was good in the 90's, his time as gone now, Peter Kay just isn't funny.
Boycie
Boyle needs to be given a knighthood I'd let him have a hood, then shoot the ginger Scottish tosser. Fancy being: *Scottish *ginger *unfunny
WorksopRam
Literally, if anyone finds me a stand-up comedian that I laugh at, I will tug you off. Stand-up comedy just doesn't do it for me one bit.
Bris Vegas
Micheal McIntyre at the appollo is brilliant
Hucknall Ram
Peter Kay isn't a funny stand up, Phoenix nights etc are funny, lee Evans is funny but not as funny as he used to be. Russell Howard and Russell Kane are funny. I went to see Dave Gorman at the Assembly rooms couple of months ago, one of the funny things I've ever seen, the show won't be on DVD cos of copywrite issues

David
I'd let him have a hood, then shoot the ginger Scottish tosser. Fancy being: *Scottish *ginger *unfunny I don't think you would have a case in court for that and I'm sure my mate Duracell would have an issue with this as well. Boycie
Duracells alright, he's "like" one of us.
David
He's not, he's ginger and you openly wish to execute gingers.
SillyBilly
Russell Howard has never once made me even crack a smile, there is only one alternative comedian that is funny and that is Ross Noble. Most comedians that do the Apollo are crap, I still cringe whenever a woman comedian is on, call me sexist but they just ain't funny. Sarah Millican? I honestly think I could do better. I dread it whenever a comedian comes on who is an ethnic minority as you can pretty much predict what 90% of their material is going to be on....just boring. I often think I must just be a miserable t**t when I see the audience in howls of laughther then I realise I'm better than them.
Boycie
Ok, you've backed me into a corner. They ought to keep ginger people's head shaved. As for women, well, wigs are quite good nowadays.
