CovKev
Hi Rams fans. I'm a Sky Blue with a simple request. I'm part of a forum (that you are all welcome on anytime - skybluestalk.co.uk). The club we support is being completely ruined from the inside out. We have faceless owners who are selling, or trying to sell, our better players in order to recoup some of the money they've lost. We've had broken promise after broken promise, lie after lie and there's now a fairly large group trying to do something about it. This is where you come in. A petition has been set-up on line against the owners, SISU Capital Ltd, and their control of the club (it doesn't sound like much, but this is just a start) and we would all be very grateful if you would take 2 minutes to sign it. It would be very much appreciated. This is it - [url=http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/sisuout/]http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/sisuout/ Thanks in advance to any of you that sign Good luck for the season
CovKev
And I've just realised I've posted it in transfer talk instead of general football 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Sorry about that! trekkie_ram
Sounds to me like one relegation spot has already been filled, makes Nigel's job one third easier....
CovKev
Oh yeah, general consensus is we're down. I won't have that till it's confirmed but it's really not looking good for us, on or off the pitch
David
Is this really something that non Coventry fans should be signing? Not sure what a faceless online petition signed by Derby fans would achieve, wouldn't a visual protest by Coventry fans at the Ricoh be a far better way to go about things? I would say vote with your feet but I see you've already tried that (sorry couldn't resist 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons//tongue' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' /> ). Yeah yeah, very funny!! The petition is just a start, other ideas are being thought up (visual ones, as you say), we're just kind of getting the ball rolling with this. Getting fans from other teams involved is an idea about showing a kind of football community togetherness against club owners that don't seem to understand fans are as important as anything in the game. I haven't put it up to make anybody sign it though, just for those that want to.
Alex W
Good luck with it, i'm not sure what a petition will do but it's something atleast. I'd say charge the directors box on match-day but that seems a tad violent. Just get Joe Murphy to lace one at him during the pre-match warm up, that would be some small consolation. Well, here's the thing - it's quite a rarity for any of the board to actually turn up! We have John Clarke, but he's actually a Cov fan! Seriously couldn't make this up

David
Sisu is a Finnish term loosely translated into English as strength of will, determination, perseverance, and acting rationally in the face of adversity

swansea ram
Good luck with it. Football is dying, and very soon a bigger club is going to go bust. We have lost quite a few smaller ex league clubs in recent years.
Cisse
SISU makes good trucks too. But I don't think they are involved with Coventry.
Pearl Ram
Good luck with it. Football is dying, and very soon a bigger club is going to go bust. We have lost quite a few smaller ex league clubs in recent years. It's not looking too good for Plymouth Argyle, I reckon they could go out the league this season and that (for me) would be a shame. To be honest, I hate what the moneymen (Sky in particular) have done to football but I suppose you could argue there's always been moneymen in the game. Hucknall Ram
Thought Plymouth have been taken over and out of administration? Are they still in trouble
Pearl Ram
Well they're still bottom of the league and went out of the cup last night to non league opposition so no possibility of a home draw against one of the big boys to swell the coffers, still looks bleak for them I think.
